🪻Simple recipe of cold process soap 💜💜🪻 ,,,,,,,lavender & Peppermint Relaxation Cold Process Soap
Oils Recipe
300g Olive Oil
250g Coconut Oil
150g Palm Oil
100g Shea Butter
200g Sunflower Oil
Lye Solution
138g Sodium Hydroxide (NaOH)
300g Distilled Water
Additives
1 tablespoon dried lavender buds
1 teaspoon peppermint powder (optional)
15g Lavender essential oil
8g Peppermint essential oil
Purple mica or natural colorant (optional)
Method
Wear gloves and safety goggles.
Slowly add the sodium hydroxide into the water and stir carefully. Allow it to cool.
Melt and combine all oils and butters.
When both oils and lye solution are around the same temperature, pour the lye into the oils.
Blend until light trace.
Add lavender buds, peppermint powder, fragrance, and color.
Pour into a silicone loaf mold.
Tap gently to remove air bubbles.
Cover and insulate for 24 hours.
Unmold and cut into bars.
Cure for 4–6 weeks before use.🪻💜
