From Sikkim to the Semifinals of India's Got Talent; Devot Art becomes Sikkim’s First Golden Buzzer Winner

A dance group from Sikkim, 'Devot Art', led by Om Prakash Sewa, has won a Golden Buzzer on India’s Got Talent — becoming the first from Sikkim to achieve this honour.

Under choreography by Nisha Rasaily, Devot Art delivered a powerful performance combining the traditional Sikkimese Maruni dance, elements of the Mask dance, and subtle references to Hindu mythology. Their unique, culturally rooted act left both the judges and audience spellbound.

The team including Om Prakash Sewa, Deepak Darnal, Nima Tshering Tamang, Landup Sherpa, Bivek Gurung, Abhijit Dey, Arpan Chettri, Prakash Sherpa, Anushka Pradhan, Drishty Thapa, Nisha Tamang, Preya Pradhan, Anisha Bishwakarma and Rema Thakuri has now earned direct entry into the semifinals.
