Unbelievable!

In 2008 in Nagareyama, Japan, an African grey parrot named Yosuke escaped from his home and ended up on a neighbor’s roof. When police picked him up, no one knew who he belonged to. He was quiet at first, just observing, saying nothing helpful.

A few days later, while staying at a veterinary clinic, Yosuke suddenly began to speak clearly. He said his name. Then he calmly recited his full home address, including the street and house number, followed by his family’s surname.

Staff wrote everything down, passed it to police, and checked the details. The address was real. The family was real. And Yosuke was returned home safely.

His owner later explained they had trained him for years to say his name and address, just in case he ever got lost.

It worked exactly the way they hoped.

Sometimes preparation looks like love spoken out loud.
