The Central Bank of Kenya recently reopened long-term treasury bonds (15- and 25-year issues) on 24 Nov 2025, and has new/ongoing offers with settlement in early December (settlement 08 Dec 2025). Amounts offered and bid rules vary by issue — non-competitive bids usually start at KSh 50,000 while competitive bids normally require a higher minimum (KSh 2,000,000 per CSD account). Secondary trading is in multiples of KSh 50,000.

FXD3/2019/015 — 15-year fixed-coupon bond (re-opened 24 Nov 2025). Coupon: 12.34%. After tax, interest is subject to a 10% withholding tax (WHT).

FXD1/2022/025 — 25-year fixed-coupon bond (re-opened 24 Nov 2025). Coupon: ≈14.19%. Also taxed at 10% WHT on interest.
