නොනිමෙන මතකය “The Persistence of Memory” සමග Salvador Dalí අධියථාර්ථවාදය, යටිසිත සහ කාලය ගැන ගැඹුරු සෞන්දර්යමය ගමනක්...
කලාව කියන්නේ මට හුදෙක් ඇඳීමක් විතරක් නෙවෙයි එක මනස, හැඟීම්, සහ අපි නොදකින ලෝකයක් එක්ක කරන සංවාදයක්. ඒ අතරින් Surrealism කියන ව්යාපාරය මට හැමවිටම අමුතුම ආකර්ෂණයක් දෙනවා. මේක තාර්කික ලෝකයට විරුද්ධව යන, අපේ යටිසිත (subconscious) සහ සිහින ලෝකය explore කරන artistic movement එකක් විදියට .
මේ movement එක ගැන කතා කරනකොට Salvador Dalí ගැන නොකියා ඉන්න බැහැ. ඔහුගේ works බලද්දී sometimes ඒවා confusing, weird, surreal වගේ දැනෙන්න පුළුවන්… හැබැයි ඒ හැම detail එකක්ම meaning එකක් තියෙනවා.
Sigmund Freudගේ බලපෑම සහ Dalíගේ මනස
Sigmund Freudගේ psychoanalysis—විශේෂයෙන් dreams කියන්නේ suppressed desires, fears, memories වල reflection එකක් කියන අදහස—Dalíට ලොකු inspiration එකක් වුණා.
Dalíගේ childhood එකත් සාමාන්ය නෙවෙයි. ඔහු උපත ලබන්න කලින් මියගිය ඔහුගේ අයියාගේ නමම ඔහුට දාපු එක, සහ ඔහු ඒ අයියාගේ “rebirth” එකක් කියලා parentsලා හිතපු එක, ඔහුගේ identity එකම confuse කරපු දෙයක්.
ඒ නිසා ඔහුගේ art එක තුළ frequently පේනවා—distorted bodies, melting forms, dream-like spaces.
නිදාගන්නත් නැති, අවදිවෙන්නත් නැති අවස්ථාව
Dalí use කරපු එක interesting technique එකක් තමයි “hypnagogic state” එකට යන එක.
ඔහු පුටුවක වාඩිවෙලා අතට key එකක් තියාගෙන පොඩි නින්දක් යනවා. නින්දට වැටෙන මොහොතේ key එක වැටෙනවා, sound එකෙන් ඔහු ඇහැරෙනවා.
ඒ split-second moment එකේ ඔහු දකින images—half dream, half reality—තමයි ඔහුගේ paintings වලට base වුණේ.
“නොනිමෙන මතකය '' - ‘’ The Persistence of Memory” කාලය පිළිබඳ ප්රශ්නයක්
1931 දී Dalí නිර්මාණය කරපු මේ painting එක size එකෙන් small වුණත්, meaning එකෙන් massive එකක්.
Melting clocks
මේ clocks represent කරන්නේ time කියන concept එක stable නෙවෙයි කියන එක.
Einsteinගේ relativity theory එකත් එක්ක link කරලා බලන්නත් පුළුවන්—time depends on perception.
Background එක Dalíගේ hometown එක Port Lligat.
හැබැයි ඒ familiar place එකත් surreal, empty, almost lifeless look එකක් ගන්නවා.
Ants & decay
Ants, flies වගේ small details represent කරන්නේ decay, death, and the temporary nature of life.
Dead tree
Dry, lifeless tree එකstability නැතිවීම, collapse of structure, even political anxiety එකක් reflect කරනවා කියලා interpret කරනවා.
Central form (face-like shape)
ඒ strange soft figure එක Dalíගේ subconscious self එකක් වගේ.
Sleeping mind එකක්… dream එකක් ඇතුළේ dissolve වෙන identity එකක්.
“Paranoiac Critical Method”
Dalí තමන්ගේ technique එකක් ලෙස develop කරපු එකක් තමයි “Paranoiac-Critical Method”.
මේකෙන් ඔහු intentionally hallucination-like state එකකට යනවා, එක object එකක් තුළ multiple images දකින්න try කරනවා.
ඒ නිසා ඔහුගේ artworks වල dual images, hidden meanings, visual illusions බහුලයි.
Art vs Commercial
Dalí පසුව Hollywood, advertising, fashion වගේ fields වලට ගියා.
ඒ නිසා criticsලා කියනවා ඔහු “too commercial” වුණා කියලා.
හැබැයි අනෙක් පැත්තෙන් බලද්දී ඔහු art එක gallery වලින් ඉවත් කරලා public culture එකට ගෙනාවා.
Dalíගේ art බලද්දී මට හැමවිටම හිතෙන්නේ“Reality කියන්නේ fixed එකක්ද? නැත්නම් අපේ mind එකෙන් create වෙන illusion එකක්ද?”
ඔහුගේ paintings අපිට answer දෙන්නේ නැහැ…
ඒවා අපිට question කරන්න කියනවා.
Conclusion
Dalí කියන්නේ painter කෙනෙක් විතරක් නෙවෙයි
ඔහු subconscious explorer කෙනෙක්.
Dreams, fears, identity, time මේ හැමදේම visual language එකකින් translate කරපු genius කෙනෙක්.
“The Persistence of Memory” කියන්නේ just a painting එකක් නෙවෙයි…
එක time, memory, existence ගැන silent philosophical debate එකක්.

රජා රවී වර්මා නව ලෝක වාර්තාවක් තබයි:
රජා රවී වර්මාගේ 'යශෝධා සහ ක්රිෂ්ණා' සිතුවම ඩොලර් මිලියන 18කට අලෙවි වෙයි; ඉන්දියානු කලාව වෙනුවෙන් නව වාර්තාවක්.
මුම්බායි හි පැවැති සාෆ්රන්ආර්ට් (Saffronart) වසන්ත කාලීන වෙන්දේසියේදී රජා රවී වර්මාගේ 'යශෝධා සහ ක්රිෂ්ණා' සිතුවම ඩොලර් මිලියන 18කට (ගැනුම්කරුගේ වාරිකය ඇතුළුව රුපියල් කෝටි 167.2 ක්) අලෙවි විය. මෙය ඉන්දියානු කලා කෘතියක් වෙනුවෙන් මෙතෙක් වාර්තා වූ ඉහළම මිල වන අතර, මීට පෙර පසුගිය මාර්තු මාසයේ නිව්යෝර්ක් හි ක්රිස්ටිස් (Christie’s) වෙන්දේසියේදී එම්. එෆ්. හුසේන්ගේ 'ග්රාම් යාත්රා' (Gram Yatra) සිතුවම ලබා තිබූ ඩොලර් මිලියන 13.75 ක වාර්තාව මෙයින් බිඳ වැටී ඇත.
ප්රධාන කරුණු:
මිලදී ගත් පුද්ගලයා: ඉන්දියාවේ සේරම් ආයතනයේ (Serum Institute of India) කළමනාකාර අධ්යක්ෂ සයිරස් එස්. පූනාවාලා (Cyrus S. Poonawalla) මහතා විසින් මෙම සිතුවම මිලදී ගෙන ඇත.
සිතුවමේ පසුබිම: මෙය 1890 දශකයේ, එනම් රජා රවී වර්මාගේ කලා ජීවිතයේ ස්වර්ණමය යුගයේ නිර්මාණය වූවකි. මෙහි නිරූපණය වන්නේ බිළිඳු ක්රිෂ්ණා සහ ඔහුගේ සුළු මව වන යශෝධා ය.
විශේෂත්වය: රවී වර්මාගේ තෙල් සායම් සිතුවම් පෞද්ගලික එකතුකරන්නන් සතුව පවතින්නේ ඉතා අල්ප වශයෙනි. මෙම සිතුවම ඉන්දියාවෙන් පිටතට ගෙන යා නොහැකි "ජාතික වස්තුවක්" (National Treasure) ලෙස සහ ලියාපදිංචි කළ පුරාවස්තුවක් ලෙස සැලකේ.
මෙම අලෙවිය මඟින් ඉන්දියානු කලා වෙළඳපොළේ පවතින ඉහළ වටිනාකම සහ ඉන්දියානු කලා එකතුකරන්නන්ගේ වර්ධනය වෙමින් පවතින මූල්ය ශක්තිය මනාව පිළිඹිබු වේ.
මෙම සිතුවම මීට පෙර 2018 වසරේ ඉන්දියානු කලා ප්රදර්ශනයේදී (India Art Fair) ප්රදර්ශනය කර තිබුණි.
