Cask Type : American Bourbon ဝက်သစ်ချသား စည် နှင့် စပိန် Sherry Cask စည်များတွင် ၁၁ နှစ်ကြာ စိမ်ထားခြင်းဖြင့် မီးခိုးရနံ့ နှင့် ခါးသက်သက်ချောကလက် (dark chocolate) အရသာတို့ဟာ သစ်ကြားသီး အရသာ နဲ့ လတ်ဆတ်သော Sourdough ပေါင်မုန့်တို့ရဲ့ အနံ့ အရသာတို့ဟာ အချိုးမျှတစွာ ပါဝင်နေပါတယ် ။
📌Bowmore 14-Year Old (Bordeaux W**e Cask Finish)
Cask Type: Bordeaux ဝိုင်စည်များတွင် နောက်ဆုံးအရသာသွင်းထားပီး သစ်သီးနက်များ (Black Forest gateaux)၊ ချယ်ရီသီး၊ ပိုင်စေ့နံ့ နှင့် ပင်လယ်ဆားနံ့တို့ ပေါင်းစပ်ပါဝင်ပြီး Dark Chocolate အရသာဖြင့် အဆုံးသတ်သည်။

Cask Type: Ex-Bourbon နှင့် Sherry casks များတွင် ရင့်မှေ့စေပြီး ပေါ်တူဂီ Douro Valley မှ Ruby Port စည်များတွင် Finish လုပ်ထားပီး သားရေနံ့၊ အနက်ရောင် စပျစ်ခြောက်၊ ချောကလက် ဖတ်ချ် (Chocolate fudge)၊ Demerara သကြား နှင့် မီးခိုးနံ့သင်းသင်းလေး ပါဝင်သည်။

၁။ Colour Collection ဆိုတာဘာလဲ?
The Macallan Colour Collection ဆိုတာဟာ Macallan ရဲ့ အဓိကမဏ္ဍိုင်နှစ်ခုဖြစ်တဲ့ သဘာဝအတိုင်း ရရှိလာတဲ့ အရောင် (Natural Colour) နဲ့ Sherry Seasoned Oak Casks (ရှယ်ရီဝိုင်ဖြင့် ပြုပြင်ထားသော ဝက်သစ်ချစည်များ) တို့ကို ဂုဏ်ပြုထုတ်လုပ်ထားတဲ့ အထူးစီးရီးတစ်ခုဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ ဤစီးရီးကို အပြည်ပြည်ဆိုင်ရာ လေဆိပ်များရှိ Duty Free (Travel Retail) ဆိုင်များမှာပဲ သီးသန့်ရောင်းချတာ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

* စည်အမျိုးအစား (Casks): အဓိကအားဖြင့် American Oak Casks ကို အသုံးပြုထားပြီး ဥရောပဝက်သစ်ချစည် (European Oak) အနည်းငယ်ကို ပေါင်းစပ်ထားပါတယ်။ ဒီစည်တွေကို စပိန်နိုင်ငံ၊ Jerez de la Frontera ဒေသက ရှယ်ရီဝိုင်တွေနဲ့ စိမ်ပြီးမှ အသုံးပြုတာ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

* သဘာဝအရောင် (Natural Colour): ဒီ 12 နှစ်ထုတ်ဟာ Colour Collection ထဲမှာ အနုဆုံးအရောင်ဖြစ်ပြီး "Golden Oak" (ရွှေရောင်သန်းသော ဝက်သစ်ချရောင်) ရှိပါတယ်။ Macallan ဟာ ဘယ်တော့မှ အရောင်ဆိုးဆေး (Artificial Colour) မသုံးတာကြောင့် ဒီအရောင်ဟာ ဝက်သစ်ချစည်ထဲမှာ နှစ်ရှည်လများ နေခဲ့ရာကနေ ရရှိလာတာပါ။

ရနံ့ (Notes) : ဝက်သစ်ချသားနံ့ အချို (Sweet Oak)၊ ရှောက်သီးခွံနံ့ (Lemon Peel)၊ ဗနီလာ ဘီစကစ် (Vanilla Biscuits) နဲ့ သစ်တော်သီး (Pear)။ |
အရသာ (Palate) အချိုဓာတ်ရှိသော မုန့်အရသာ (Syrup Sponge)၊ ရှောက်သီးယို (Citrus Curd)၊ သစ်သီးခြောက်များနဲ့ ဇာတိပ္ဖိုလ်သီး (Nutmeg) အနံ့ အနည်းငယ်။
