Our recently published research suggests a different one:
"Can this oil help BEMT perform at its best?"

Our study shows that the oil phase is more than just a solvent. By creating different molecular environments around BEMT, oil polarity can influence how efficiently the UV filter absorbs UV energy and dissipates it safely—ultimately affecting photostability, ROS generation and SPF performance.

The oil doesn't just carry BEMT. It helps BEMT perform.

This research doesn't replace conventional formulation principles such as solubility—it adds another dimension to designing high-performance sunscreen systems.
