Scene 9 — Everybody Chases Tortoise

Tortoise suddenly ran.

Or rather, he walked extremely quickly.

Fox chased him.

Hare chased Fox.

Hyena chased Hare.

Monkey chased Hyena.

Eagle flew above them.

Elephant thundered behind everyone.

Soon the entire kingdom was chasing one tiny tortoise.

Tortoise reached a narrow hole and disappeared inside.

Everyone stopped.

Fox smiled.

“He's trapped.”

From inside came Tortoise's voice:

“Are you sure?”

Scene 8 — Tortoise's Secret

The animals rushed toward Tortoise.

“You did this!”

Tortoise smiled.

“I did nothing.”

Fox narrowed his eyes.

“You always say that when you have done something.”

Tortoise replied:

“That is because I am usually telling the truth.”

The animals searched him.

Nothing.

Then Eagle shouted:

“Wait! Look at his shell!”

A tiny golden reflection appeared on Tortoise's shell.

Everyone gasped.

Tortoise quickly covered himself.

But it was too late.

“The crown!” Fox shouted.

Scene 7 — The Real Crown

Monkey picked up the crown.

“This is mine!”

Suddenly, a voice thundered:

“Put it down.”

Monkey froze.

King Lion emerged from the bushes.

“I found it!” Monkey shouted.

Lion shook his head.

“No. You found what I wanted you to find.”

Monkey stared at him.

“What?”

Lion laughed.

“The crown you found is fake.”

Monkey looked at it.

Then the crown exploded into a cloud of yellow dust.

Everyone began coughing.

From somewhere nearby came Tortoise's laughter.

Scene 6 — The Monkey's Great Deception

Monkey found an old golden cooking pot.

He placed it on his head and covered himself with leaves.

Then he walked toward the animals.

“I am the Spirit of the Golden Crown,” he announced in a deep voice.

Everyone screamed.

Except Elephant.

Elephant walked closer.

“Spirit?”

“Yes.”

“Then prove it.”

Monkey raised his arms.

“I can make anyone disappear!”

“Make Hyena disappear.”

Monkey pointed at Hyena.

“Disappear!”

Hyena immediately ran away.

Everyone burst into laughter.

Monkey removed the leaves.

“I was joking!”

But when he turned around, the golden crown was sitting behind him.

His smile disappeared.

Scene 5 — The Hare's Race

Hare challenged everyone to a race.

“Whoever reaches the eastern forest first gets the crown!”

Elephant laughed.

“You cannot outrun me.”

“I don't need to,” Hare replied.

“I only need you to believe that you can beat me.”

Elephant frowned.

Hare suddenly shouted:

“Look! The crown!”

Every animal looked behind them.

Hare sprinted away laughing.

But Tortoise remained where he was.

“Interesting,” he murmured.

Scene 4 — The Hyena Brilliant Idea

Hyena gathered the other hyenas.

“I know exactly where the crown is.”

“Where?”

“Wherever Fox thinks it is.”

They stared at him.

Hyena proudly explained:

“Fox thinks he is clever. Therefore, wherever Fox goes, the crown must be somewhere else.”

The hyenas nodded.

One asked:

“But what if Fox is wrong?”

Hyena paused.

“Then we follow Tortoise.”

Everyone groaned.

Scene 3 — The Fox's Secret Plan

That night, Fox secretly followed King Lion.

He watched the king carrying something toward the eastern forest.

“Aha!” Fox whispered.

“The crown is there!”

But Fox didn't know that Monkey was hanging upside down from a branch above him.

Monkey whispered:

“So the great Fox thinks he has discovered the secret.”

Fox suddenly looked upward.

Monkey froze.

Fox smiled.

Monkey smiled.

Then both ran in opposite directions.

Neither realized that Hyena had been watching them.

Scene 2 — The Lion's Challenge

King Lion gathered everyone beneath the Great Baobab Tree.

“I have hidden a golden crown somewhere in this forest,” he announced. “Whoever finds it before sunset tomorrow shall become the Kingdom's Chief Adviser.”

Immediately, chaos erupted.

The Eagle spread his wings.

“I shall find it from the sky!”

The Elephant laughed.

“You may see everything from the sky, but you cannot smell what is underground.”

The Fox grinned.

“You are all wasting your time. The crown will belong to me.”

Hare jumped forward.

“Not if I get there first!”

Tortoise quietly smiled.

“Speed is not the same as intelligence.”

Hare turned.

“What did you say?”

“Nothing,” Tortoise replied innocently.

THE GREAT ANIMAL KINGDOM: THE GAME OF WHO IS WISEST?

Scene 1 — The Kingdom of Endless Tricks

Deep inside the Great Green Forest lived a kingdom where no animal trusted another.

The Lion was powerful. The Elephant was wise. The Fox was cunning. The Monkey was mischievous. The Hyena was always looking for an easy meal. The Tortoise was slow but dangerously clever, while the Hare believed he was the smartest creature alive.

Every animal wanted the same thing: to be regarded as the wisest, strongest and most important animal in the kingdom.

One morning, King Lion announced:

“Tomorrow, I shall discover who among you is truly the greatest.”

The entire kingdom went silent.

The Fox smiled.

The Monkey laughed.

The Hyena licked his lips.

And Tortoise whispered:

“Tomorrow will be interesting.”

Nobody noticed that he had already started planning.
