NEW WEEK PRAYER

Dear God, as I step into this new week, I commit myself, my family, my home, my work and everything that concerns me into Your hands.

May this week bring us peace that cannot be explained, favour that cannot be denied, and blessings that only You can provide.

Lord, go ahead of us and make every crooked path straight. Open doors that no man can shut, connect us to the right people, and remove every obstacle standing between us and the good things You have prepared for us.

Protect us from sickness, accidents, disappointment, evil and every plan that is not from You. May our going out and coming in be covered by Your grace.

Where there is worry, give us peace.
Where there is confusion, give us direction.
Where there is lack, make provision.
Where there is delay, let there be divine timing.
Where we have been praying, let us receive answers.

May this week bring good news, unexpected favour, financial breakthroughs, answered prayers and reasons to testify.

And above all, Lord, help us remember that You are our provider. We will not fear what we cannot see because we know You are already ahead of us.

This week will not swallow us.
We will not bury our dreams.
We will not lose what You have given us.
We will have reasons to smile, rejoice and say:

Look what the Lord has done!

May this be a beautiful and fruitful week for us and everyone connected to us.

SALLY’S MORNING DIARY — EPISODE 93

Good morning, my beautiful Yummy Mommies and Daddies! ❤️

Today is Saturday, and guess who decided to wake up quite early?

Sally!

The moment I heard her moving around, I was like:
Girl, please go back to sleep! Mummy is NOT compromising this Saturday morning sleep!
Because today, I had made up my mind that I was going to be selfish.
Yes o! Mummy wants to do ME today. 😌
Sally started with her morning gist.
Then came the questions.
And you know Sally and her unlimited questions!
I listened for a little while, tucked myself properly into my blanket and decided.
My dear, Mummy loves you, but Mummy needs sleep. 😂😂
And just like that, I dozed off. 😴
When I finally woke up, I looked around and realised something.

NOBODY GOT HURT. 😂
The house was still standing.
The house was clean.
Everybody had eaten.
Nobody was starving.
Nobody paused their life because Mummy slept in.
The world did not end! 🤣🤣🤣
And honestly, that was my lesson for today.

My amazing Yummy Mommies, sometimes you need to be selfish with your needs. ❤️
Be selfish with your sleep.
Be selfish with your quiet time.
Be selfish with your alone time.
Be selfish with taking care of your mental and emotional well-being.
Because as mothers, we can get so used to putting everybody first that we sometimes forget that WE ARE ALSO PEOPLE.
You don't have to be awake before everyone else every single day.
You don't have to solve every problem immediately.
You don't have to feel guilty for resting.
Sometimes, nothing will happen if Mummy takes a break.
In fact, you may wake up feeling more refreshed, more patient and more ready to pour into everyone else.
Because you cannot keep pouring from an empty cup.
So today, I slept. 😌
And guess what?
Sally survived. The house survived. Mummy survived. 😂😂
Please, my Yummy Mommies, take that rest when you need it.
Rest is not laziness. Self-care is not selfishness. Sometimes, taking care of yourself IS part of taking care of your family. ❤️
Now excuse me while I enjoy the rest of my Saturday. 😂💃🏽
