POV: You enter the hospital and suddenly your BP starts misbehaving! 😂😭📈
It may be anxiety, caffeine, recent exercise, smoking, talking during the check, or even poor positioning.
But wait… is it really “hospital BP,” or is something else going on? 👀🩺
Have you ever had your BP rise at the hospital? 👇🏽😂
Seeing 120/80 doesn’t mean you should stop paying attention to your BP. 👀🩺
One reading doesn’t tell the whole story—stress, caffeine, exercise and even how BP is measured can affect the result.
So… do you really know what your BP reading means? 😂
Save this & share with someone who needs to know! ❤️
You’ve probably seen 120/80 plenty of times… but what is the 120 and what is the 80? 🤔😂
🩺 120 = Systolic — pressure when your heart pumps.
🩺 80 = Diastolic — pressure when your heart relaxes.
So remember:
TOP = PUMPING ❤️ | BOTTOM = RELAXING ❤️
Now you know! 😂
But wait… is 120/80 actually a normal BP? 👀
👉🏽 Part 3 is coming.
Feeling fine doesn’t always mean your BP is fine. 👀🩺
High blood pressure can have no obvious symptoms — no headache, no dizziness, nothing!
So don’t wait until you feel sick. Check your BP. Know your numbers. ❤️
Tag someone who needs this reminder. 👇
Somebody will say, “I’m getting old, na why my body dey do anyhow.” 😂
BP is high — “na age.”
Constant tiredness — “na age.”
Persistent pain — “na age.”
Pleaseee! 😭 Your birth certificate is NOT a medical diagnosis.
Ageing comes with body changes, but persistent symptoms shouldn’t automatically be dismissed as “normal ageing.”
Nurse: “What medication are you currently taking?” 🩺
Patient: “I forgot the name o… but it’s that small white one.” 😭😂
Small white one?! My dear, do you know how many medications look like that? 😂
Seriously though, don’t rely only on the colour or shape of your medication. Try to know the name and dose, and keep the packet, prescription, or a clear picture of it.
Now be honest 👀👇🏽
Have you ever described your medication as “that small white one”? 😂
Tell me in the comments — no judgement!

STOP COMPARING YOUR JOURNEY. 🤍
Have you ever gone on social media, seen someone your age doing so well, and suddenly started questioning your own life? 😂
One person has graduated.
Someone has gotten a job.
Another person is starting a business.
Someone is travelling, getting married, achieving big things…
And you’re just there like, “God, when is my own turn?” 😭😂
But honestly, I’m learning that we really need to stop comparing our journey to other people’s.
Because sometimes, you’re looking at someone’s Chapter 10, while you’re still in Chapter 2.
And that doesn’t mean you’re behind.
You’re learning.
You’re growing.
You’re figuring things out.
You’re becoming the person you’re meant to be.
Instead of constantly looking at where someone else is, take a moment to look at where you started.
Look at how much you’ve grown.
Look at the things you once prayed for that you now have.
Your Chapter 2 is not their Chapter 10.
Keep going. 🫶🏽
Your story is still being written. ✨
What’s one thing you’re learning not to rush in your life? 👇🏽
