Imagine landing in another country for vacation…
Only for police officers to surround you at the airport because YOUR name is attached to a suitcase full of drugs. 😳

That’s the scary reality some innocent travelers connected to Toronto Pearson Airport reportedly faced recently.

According to reports, some airport workers allegedly removed luggage tags from passengers’ real bags and attached them to suitcases packed with co***ne or other drugs. If the bags passed through successfully, the smugglers won. If authorities intercepted them, innocent travelers became the suspects. 💔

Some people were reportedly detained for hours… some arrested abroad… all because of a luggage tag switch they knew nothing about.

This world is changing fast.
Now travelers are being advised to:
….Take photos/videos of their luggage before checking in
….Keep baggage receipts safely
….Use AirTags or trackers inside bags
….Double-check luggage details before flying

Honestly, this is one of the craziest airport stories I’ve heard in a long time. One small luggage tag switch could completely change someone’s life in seconds. 😳

Imagine planning a dream trip and ending up in a foreign jail trying to prove your innocence. 😳✈️

From now on, I’m recording my luggage before every flight. This story unlocked a new travel fear.
