β IMPORTANT NOTICE β
Good evening friends! Another thing I want intending students to know about this forthcoming course is that, I DO NOT AND WOULD NOT tolerate a nonchalant attitude towards the course. You have to stay committed to the course, if you successfully register. I mean, you already paid, so why not take it seriously?
You have to complete and submit assignments on time. If you cannot, you should state a reason for not being able to meet up, and state when you'll be able to submit.
Also, you have to keep to time for scheduled calls, and if you'll not be able to meet up, make sure to let me know.
Soapmaking is a fun and interesting craft, from coming up with recipes, to unmolding the soaps. So, I can't see reasons someone would register to learn and not take it seriously. So, my intending students, beware. Thank you!

At this point, I had taught her how to create recipes, according to how you want your soap to be. So, I tested her by asking her to create recipes for soaps for children and men. Her response to the men's soap thoughπππ
Most men like highly cleansing soaps. As for kids, because of how tender their skin is, they don't need highly cleansing soaps. Their soaps should be more conditioning than Cleansing. She understood the assignment, and came up with these beautiful recipes, with beautiful fragrances and colours to match. I was impressed!
Also, because we do many practicals, I encourage my students to soap in small batches, to reduce cost. But, it's always good to test recipes in small batches, before going all in.
Lastly, take note of how neatly I taught her to document her recipes offline. The important notes to take, and the spaces for "outcome" after the soap has cured and been tested.
Soapmaking is a rewarding passion and addiction, if you learn it right. Don't miss this opportunity to learn from one of the best!

Again, you get to learn about the various fatty acids, that give soap its properties. You'll learn the properties each fatty acids give, and the fatty acids profile of different beautiful oils. Having your fatty acids knowledge at your fingertips, is key to creating recipes to meet your expected outcome.
They determine how cleansing, bubbly, conditioning, creamy, hard your soap is. So, I won't just give you a recipe. I'll teach you how to create yours from scratch!

At this point, I had already taught her how to properly use a lye calculator to get appropriate measurements of ingredients. So, I came up with a recipe and asked her to calculate it. She did, and sent it in.
One of the fundamentals of proper Soapmaking, is to get your measurements right, using a proper lye calculator, and a good digital scale. Every single oil has a saponification value. That is, the amount of lye that's needed to saponify a gram of the oil. Online soap calculators have made it easier to access the SAP values of these oils. You just need to learn how to use them properly.
There are different online lye calculators. I do my teaching in such a way that you are able to use any lye calculator you come across, not just "soapcalc.net". I basically explain everything that needs to be explained on the calculator, so that you're not just stuck with one calculator. This way, you'll be able to navigate through any other lye calculator you come across.

Good morning friends. This particular point, is one thing I take pride in, when it comes to teaching soapmaking. I don't and would never be a mediocre tutor. It's the best or nothing! I take quality time to pass the good news of soapmaking to my students.
Here, I don't just give you soap recipes to follow. Some people allegedly learn soapmaking but don't know how to formulate recipes according to the properties they want their soaps to have. Some don't even know how to properly use a lye calculator, to get correct measurements...no, we don't do that here.
I teach my students the chemistry of saponification, down to fatty acids and the properties they give in soap, to oils and their fatty acids profile, to using a lye calculator to get appropriate measurements, to troubleshooting in soapmaking, and so on.
Some people reach out for registration, and they tell me that they've paid for several other classes, before mine and I wonder, "so why are you still paying to learn". Then, I figure out the kind of "soap classes" they've been paying for and I understand.
Again, my classes aren't less than a month, because I need to make sure you're learning at a pace practical enough for you to grasp the basics of soapmaking. Whatever you want the outcome of your soap to be, whether you want it to be more cleansing, or harder, or more conditioning, you'll be able to create recipes, according to oils and their fatty acids profile, to meet your expectation.
I'm passionate about soapmaking, and I love teaching, so I need you to know that you are in the best hands. You've seen my work, so you should be able to tell.

Good morning friends! This is another important thing to note about this course. It is extremely beginner-friendly. My classes, are designed with beginners in mind.

β IMPORTANT NOTICE β
Good afternoon friends. Another thing I want intending students to note is that, my classes are always one-on-one, for individualised attention.
I'm not a fan of group classes because, we all have different lives, some of us have families to tend to, some have businesses to tend to, at different times. We don't operate on the same schedule. So, I shouldn't expect a nursing mother to always be available at my own time of availability.
Also, we all learn differently, and at different pace. The way I pass the message to A, might not be the same way I'll pass the message to B. The way I'll teach someone who's already into soapmaking, wouldn't be the way I'll teach a complete beginner.
Also, I like to establish personal relationships with my students, so I get to know them better, and how best to pass the good news of Soapmaking to them. One-on-one classes, foster this kind of relationships more.
It's for this reason too that I don't accept more than 10 students in each batch. Because, I know I might not be able to manage more than 10, considering the one-on-one classes.
Also, if telegram is more convenient for you, then we'll use telegram. It mustn't be Whatsapp.
So, if you were concerned about this, I want you to know that classes would be one-on-one, for all ten students that'll be registered.
