Dr. Ijeoma Nwokorie didn’t just graduate as the best from FUTO’s Optometry School, she graduated as the *Overall Best Graduating Student of the Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) for the 2024/2025 session, making history as the first Optometry Student to ever achieve this in the University’s long history*.

As we mark Women’s History Month, her journey stands as a celebration of the strides women continue to make in society and beyond.
