Am I wrong for refusing to give the engagement ring from my late fiancé back to his mom? 8yrs ago I lost him in a undisclosed health cond!t!on. We both a beautiful and loving relationship but I guess life had other plans . I've had to go through therapy, support groups, panic attacks, depress!on and so much more, it was during one of the support groups I met my now boyfriend.
Last month he proposed and when my late fiancé's mother found out, she asked me to return the engagement ring her son gave me since I'm finally moving on. I told her I couldn't give her the ring becaus it meant a lot to me & of his siblings are saying I'm selfish for keeping the ring while moving on with someone else. Please I want to know Am I wrong?

Between a husband and a wife who is supposed to be pampered?

I’m 20 years old, and after losing my job a few months ago, I had no choice but to move back in with my parents.

My dad has never accepted that I’m struggling. Every mistake I make seems to set him off. If I leave a plate in the sink or forget to do something, he starts yelling. Lately, it’s gotten worse. He’ll throw whatever is nearby a TV remote, a towel, even a shoe. Last night, he shoved me into the wall during an argument and told me I was a disappointment who should have my life figured out by now.

I finally snapped and told him he had no right to treat me that way. He called me disrespectful and slapped me across the face.

This morning, he was acting cheerful, asking if I wanted breakfast as if nothing had happened. My mom told me to keep quiet because confronting him would only make things worse.

How do you get someone to understand that you’re trying your best when they only seem to see your failures?

I don’t want to be cut in the middle between my wife and my mother, what should I do?
