WASH YOUR WAVY WIG THE RIGHT WAY
Washing your wig regularly is important, but doing it the wrong way can ruin those beautiful waves. Here’s how to do it properly:

-Use Gentle Products: Choose a sulfate-free, wig-friendly shampoo and conditioner. Sulfates can strip the hair of moisture, which is especially harmful for wigs.

-Lukewarm Water: Fill a basin with lukewarm water and add a small amount of shampoo. Gently immerse the wig and swish it around—no scrubbing or harsh rubbing!

-Rinse Thoroughly: After shampooing, rinse the wig with lukewarm water to remove all product. Then, apply conditioner, focusing on the mid-lengths to the ends. Leave it on for a few minutes before rinsing with cool water, which helps seal the hair cuticle and enhance shine.

Wavy wigs are prone to tangling, especially at the ends, so gentle detangling is key. Before washing or styling, always start by detangling the wig:

-Use the Right Tools: A wide-tooth comb or your fingers are best for detangling wavy wigs. They glide through the hair without disrupting the wave pattern.

-Start from the Ends: Begin detangling at the ends and gradually work your way up to the roots. This method helps prevent breakage and keeps the waves intact.

-Avoid Brushing Dry: Never brush your wig when it’s dry, as this can lead to frizz and damage. If you need to refresh the waves, mist the wig lightly with water before detangling.
