How do you convince a young girl to leave her home with promises of a better future, only for that journey to end in tragedy?

The Delta State P0lice Command officially confirmed the arrest of popular content creator Ifeanyi Ogbonna, widely known as "Odogwu of Asaba"

The case has attracted nationwide attention because the vict!m wasn't just any young lady
She was 2O-year-old Favour Agbro, a nursing student who, according to po|ice, travelled to Asaba on 1st June 2O26, believing she was going there to receive mentorship in content creation

Like many young people today, she was simply looking for an opportunity to learn, grow and build something for herself
But according to investigators, that opportunity allegedly became a nightmare

P0lice allege that after arriving in Asaba, Favour was lvred into a hotel room where she was s£xually ass@ulted and physically att@cked

Unable to cope with the trauma she allegedly experienced, Favour reportedly recorded a video explaining her ordeal, hoping her voice would tell the story she could no longer carry alone

Not long after making the video, she tragically took her own life by ingesting a pois0nous substance
Her d£ath left many people deeply saddened, with many calling for a thorough investigation into what truly happened and for justice to be served

The Delta State Commissioner of Police, CP Yemi Oyeniyi, subsequently directed the Area Command, Effurun, to take over the investigation

The P0lice Command has now confirmed that Ifeanyi Ogbonna has been arrested. Authorities say he has made useful statements to investigators and is currently in cust0dy while the investigation continues
