BAYAWAN CITY, NEGROS ORIENTAL. The name Bayawan is derived from the Visayan word "Bayaw,” or to hoist. It was not until 1872 that she was formally organized as a pueblo. Creating road-to-market roads in underdeveloped areas can stimulate economic growth by facilitating trade, promoting entrepreneurship, and creating job opportunities in transportation and logistics.

The aquaculture industry is a significant economic driver, providing employment and income opportunities for a diverse workforce. Careers in research and development contribute to the industry's growth by driving innovation in breeding, nutrition, disease management, and environmental sustainability.

Public awareness is key to preserving nature and wildlife. Promote educational initiatives, outreach programs, and campaigns that inform people about the threats to nature and wildlife, as well as actions they can take to make a positive impact.
