There is something incredibly poetic about celebrating ninety years of life within the historic walls of Intramuros. But at the Bayleaf Hotel that day, the most enduring history wasn't found in the old architecture ~ it was sitting right there in the room with us.
Hitting 90 is a rare, absolute privilege. But Lola Juliet? She’s taking it in stride, literally. Still walking, exuding this quiet, undeniable physical strength, she is a living masterclass in endurance and grace.
But here is the beautiful truth about this event. Her children flew in from all corners of the globe. You don't even need to think about the cost, the time zones, and the logistical effort of pulling that off. None of it mattered.
