Being believed without having to prove my pain.
That’s something I wish more dialysis patients could experience.
We already spend hours connected to a machine just to keep our bodies going. We deal with exhaustion, dizziness, weakness, pain, restrictions, medications, expenses, and the emotional weight that comes with knowing this treatment is part of our life.
And sometimes, the hardest part isn’t the dialysis itself.
It’s having to explain why we’re tired.
Why we can’t work like before.
Why we need help.
Why some days, simply getting through the day is already an achievement.
I don’t need everyone to understand what dialysis feels like.
I just wish I could say, “Today is hard,” and be believed.
No proof.
No explanations.
No guilt.
Just a little understanding.
Because behind every dialysis patient is a person doing their best to stay alive, even on the days when staying strong feels exhausting.
Believe us when we say we’re tired. We’re not being dramatic. We’re surviving. ❤️

I still have a long road ahead.
There will be days when I’m tired. Days when the road feels too heavy, and all I can do is take one more breath and one more step.
But I’m still here.
Still fighting. Still hoping. Still choosing to move forward, even when I can’t see how far the road goes.
I don’t need to conquer everything today.
I just need to keep going.
One step at a time.
One day at a time.
One prayer at a time. 🙏❤️
No Retreat. No Surrender.
Not because I’m never afraid or never tired, but because there’s still so much life worth fighting for.
And for every person walking a difficult road right now, I hope you remember this:
You don’t have to be strong every minute. Just don’t give up on yourself.
❤️

A dialysis journey will test parts of you that you never knew existed. Some days break your heart, drain your body, and make you wonder how much more you can take.
But here I am.
Still showing up. Still fighting. Still here. ❤️🩹

You’re on hour 1 of a 5 hour dialysis session… and the clock has personally decided to torture you. 😂⏰
One minute feels like 20.
20 minutes feels like forever.
Welcome to dialysis time. 😩😂

MONDAY AGAIN. 😭😂
Two precious non dialysis days…
57 kg on Friday.
Then Monday morning:
60.5 KG.
Me: “EXCUSE ME?! WHO INVITED THESE 3.5 KILOS?!” 😂
Dialysis machine:
“Relax. I know what to do.” 😭🤣
Dialysis patients know this feeling.
You spend your two free days eating, drinking, breathing, and simply EXISTING…
Then Monday comes with the scale acting like it has a personal issue with you. 😂
Friday: “Enjoy your weekend!”
Monday: “Okay. Now explain yourself.” 😭
Dialysis truth:
Sometimes the biggest Monday surprise isn't the workload.
It's the weight gain. 😂💀
Who else has a Monday morning weight that makes them question every sip of water they took all weekend? 😅
