What began as a mother’s desire to find a gentler fragrance for her children has blossomed into Florise Scents, a growing homegrown perfume business owned by 𝐈𝐫𝐢𝐬 𝐁𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐧 and co-owner 𝐌𝐢𝐤𝐞𝐞 𝐁𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐧. Born from a family’s experience with sensitivity to strong alcohol-based fragrances, the business developed its 𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝟑𝟓% 𝐨𝐢𝐥-𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐮𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝟏𝟎𝟎% 𝐩𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐢𝐥𝐬 designed with comfort and quality in mind.

The road to growth was not without challenges. As a new brand, Florise Scents had to introduce its unique product concept, build customer awareness, and find its market. A defining moment came in September 2024, when the business joined a two-week booth exhibition at SM Gensan. The positive response, repeat purchases, and growing customer inquiries showed that there was a market for its products and gave the owners the confidence to take the business further.

DTI support became an important part of that journey. Through photography training, BYE Bootcamp, digital marketing, Shopee orientation, trade fairs, and KMME, Florise Scents gained skills in marketing, financial management, and business operations. These learnings helped the owners make better business decisions and strengthen how they manage the enterprise.

The improvements were seen in the business’s continued growth in online sales, wider customer reach, and more organized inventory and financial monitoring systems. Even without a permanent physical store, Florise Scents has built a growing customer base through e-commerce, social media, word-of-mouth, and pop-up events.

What started as a mother’s effort to find a solution for her family has become a business reaching more customers—proving that a meaningful idea, strengthened by learning and perseverance, can grow into something much bigger than where it began.

A new month means new moments, new memories, and maybe… a new signature scent.
