Filipino entertainment content creator Novy Recate has been telling stories through her content for years. This time, we asked her to tell us a little about her own story with glasses—and what Sulyap Optical means to her.

Q1:
“How does seeing clearly change the way you see yourself?”

- From 13 to 27, my glasses are a part of my self-expression. I don’t think there was a day in the past 14 years where I haven’t used my glasses. Practicality wise, it helps me see things confidently. But as I mature, I realized that my glasses also empower me in the most subtle ways. Especially in my line of work where things can be overwhelming I can just whip out my amber tinted shades and it veils my surroundings to a relaxing tone. Para akong my bio hack in my pocket. Trust me, it makes a huge difference at iba ang galaw knowing you have that one small thing in your pocket that can help you lock in.

Q2
"What does Sulyap Optical mean to you?"
Sulyap Optical is a haven for my eyes and a home for my heart. The optometrists and technicians are a gift because they will really offer the best of what they have like they are caring for family.
