If one day I wake up and all the dreams I’ve longed for have finally come true,
how I wish the hands that raised me would still be there —
the hands that wiped my tears,
that guided me through every fall,
that clapped the loudest even when my victories were small.

I hope the hearts that loved me first will still be smiling — not because I finally made it,
but because every step I took, every challenge I faced,
and every bit of strength I gathered
was all because of them.

All I’ve ever wanted was to make them proud,
to turn their sacrifices into something worth remembering.
And when that day comes,

Sa bawat luha mong hindi nakita ng iba, may binubuong lakas na ikaw lang ang nakakaalam. Hindi nasusukat ang tagumpay sa dami ng papuri, kundi sa dami ng beses mong piniling bumangon kahit walang pumapalakpak. Kaya bago mo sabihing wala kang narating, alalahanin mo kung ilang beses mong nilabanan ang sarili mong sumuko. Iyan ang tunay na tagumpay. 💗
