Arshad Nadeem didn’t have the money to buy a professional javelin. His competitor Neeraj ( Indian) helped him get one. After winning the gold medal, Neeraj's mother said, I am glad my other son won gold medal ( this is pure class and elegance from Indians).

- The entire village funded his training, and he didn’t receive professional training.

- Arshad Nadeem is the first Pakistani athlete who won the gold medal in solo sports. He had no government support, he did all by himself for the country.

He made a 92.97 m throw as if it were nothing & won gold for his country.
