اسحاق اینڈویورولوجی اینڈ اسٹون سینٹر، شعبہ یورولوجی نشتر ہسپتال ملتان میں 14 اپریل 2026 کو یوریتھروپلاسٹی پر ایک خصوصی سرجیکل ورکشاپ کامیابی سے منعقد ہوئی۔
اس ورکشاپ کا مقصد یوریتھروپلاسٹی کی جدید تکنیکوں سے معالجین اور زیرِ تربیت ڈاکٹرز کو آگاہ کرنا اور ان کی عملی مہارتوں میں اضافہ کرنا تھا۔
ورکشاپ کی قیادت معروف یورولوجسٹ ڈاکٹر احسان الحق نے کی، جو پاکستان انسٹیٹیوٹ آف میڈیکل سائنسز (پمز) میں ایسوسی ایٹ پروفیسر آف یورولوجی ہیں اور اس ورکشاپ میں بطور ماسٹر ٹرینر شریک ہوئے جبکہ ڈاکٹر رضا محمد معاون تھے۔
اس موقع پر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر مہناز خاکوانی، وائس چانسلر نشتر میڈیکل یونیورسٹی نے بطور مہمانِ خصوصی اور ڈین آف سرجری پروفیسر ڈاکٹر مسعود الرؤف ہراج نے بطور مہمانِ اعزاز شرکت کی۔ پروفیسر ڈاکٹر آصف عمران، سربراہ شعبہ یورولوجی نشتر میڈیکل یونیورسٹی ملتان نے بطور چیف آرگنائزر اس ورکشاپ کی نگرانی کی، لوکل ٹیم میں ایسوسی ایٹ پروفیسر ڈاکٹر عمران حیدر سلیانہ، اسسٹنٹ پروفیسر ڈاکٹر رانا عطاء الرحمن، اسسٹنٹ پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد احمد، سینئر رجسٹرار ڈاکٹر عمیر ظفر اور سینیئر رجسٹرار ڈاکٹر محمد امجد شامل تھے۔

یہ ورکشاپ شعبہ یورولوجی، نشتر ہسپتال ملتان کی جانب سے طبی تعلیم، جدید سرجیکل مہارتوں کے فروغ اور مریضوں کو بہتر علاج کی سہولیات فراہم کرنے کے عزم کا عکاس ہے۔

نشتر ہسپتال ، گردے کی پتھری کے 250 جدید آپریشنز:

نشتر ہسپتال میں گردوں کی پتھری کے جدید طریقے RIRS کے ذریعے 250 مریضوں کے آپریشن کامیابی سے مکمل کر لئے گئے ۔ اس موقع پر نشتر میڈیکل یونیورسٹی و ہسپتال کے شعبہ یورولوجی کی جانب سے وائس چانسلر دفتر میں تقریب کا انعقاد کیا گیا، جس میں وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر مہناز خاکوانی بطور مہمان خصوصی موجود تھیں جبکہ فیکلٹی ممبران کی بھی بڑی تعداد نے شرکت کی۔ اسٹنٹ پروفیسر ڈاکٹر رانا عطا الرحمان نے بتایا کہ پروفیسر ڈاکٹر آصف عمران کی سربراہی میں ڈاکٹر عمران اور ڈاکٹر رانا عطا الرحمان نے RIRS کے ذریعے 250 آپریشن مکمل کئے ۔ پاکستانی نژاد امریکی ڈاکٹر شاہد اسحاق خان نے جدید مشینری فراہم کی اور اس حوالے سے ٹرینگ بھی کروائی ، جس میں ڈاکٹر ثاقب جاوید ، ڈاکٹر عاصم چودھری ، ڈاکٹر فضل نیازی اور ڈاکٹر ندیم بن نصرت شامل تھے۔ ڈاکٹر شاہد اسحاق نے بتایا کہ نجی ہسپتالوں میں یہ سرجری چار سے ساڑھے چار لاکھ روپے میں کی جاتی ہے، جبکہ نشتر ہسپتال میں یہ مفت فراہم کی جا رہی ہے۔

We welcome Honourable Prof. Dr. Hammad Ather to Nishtar Medical University Multan where he was given a comprehensive tour of the campus and took part in the plantation drive.
Later on, he delivered an informative lecture on “Current Advances in High Grade Non-Muscle Invasive Bladder Cancer”

As part of today’s ward academic activities, a comprehensive long case presentation was presented by Dr. M. Arslan Ali, Postgraduate Resident. The session took place in a conducive academic atmosphere and was attended by the respected Dr. Atta Ur Rehman, Assistant Professor, along with other esteemed faculty members. The discussion was engaging and insightful, greatly enhancing the residents’ clinical understanding and academic learning

Congratulations to Dr. Umair Zafar, Senior Registrar (Urology), on successfully passing MRCS Part B and becoming a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. This is a remarkable milestone that reflects your dedication, hard work, and surgical excellence. Wishing you continued success and further achievements in your professional journey

Today, as part of the academic activities in the Ward, a detailed long case presentation was delivered by Dr. Mughis Malik, Postgraduate Resident. The session was conducted in an academically enriching environment and was attended by Respected Dr. Imran Haidar Salyana, Associate Professor, along with other esteemed faculty members. The discussion was interactive and informative, contributing significantly to the academic growth and clinical learning of the residents

The weekly academic session of the Urology ward NHM was conducted today as per schedule. The presentation was delivered by Dr. Ahtasham Babar post graduate trainee. The session was informative and interactive, followed by a brief discussion with faculty and residents.
