Nagar, located in Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan, was an independent princely state from approximately 1300 until 1891.
It was ruled by local monarchs called 'Thum' or 'Mir'. Following the 1891 Anglo-Brushohe war, it became a British protectorate,
