I have always thought that if I want to lose weight, I must eat salad all day, everyday😅 Who had that thought too...?🙋🏻‍♀️

But boy... I was wrong.😁

These are lunches I had without salad that helped me lose 17kg:

1. Healthy Nasi Lemak
2. Tofu burger
3. Quinoa & Grilled Chicken
4. Spaghetti bolognese
5. Asian Poke Bowl
6. Aglio Olio
7. Rice & seafood
8. Kimchi Jigae

Of cos there are days I eat salad too as there are benefits to eating salad such as lower calories but I couldn't eat salad all day everyday. So boring.

🏋🏻‍♀️Strength Training🏋🏻‍♀️

Strength training helps build muscle, which increases your resting metabolic rate and helps you burn more calories even at rest.

Consistency is key 🔑
Monitor your progress and make adjustments to your workout routine.

To support weight loss effectively, Incorporate strength training sessions into your weekly routine, aiming for 2-3 times a week, and combine them with a balanced diet and cardiovascular exercise for a comprehensive approach to weight loss and overall fitness. 💪🏻

❤️🏃🏻‍♀️Cardiovascular exercise🏃🏻‍♀️❤️

As the name clearly states, cardio ~ activity that keeps your heart pumping fast and increasing your breathing☺️

Outdoor activities such as running 🏃🏻‍♀️, swimming🏊🏻‍♀️, & cycling🚴‍♀️ are Cardiovascular Excercise

Cardiovascular exercise helps pump oxygen-rich blood throughout your body, providing energy and supporting various bodily functions.

⚠️⚠️Remember to warm up before starting your workout. Depending on your fitness level, aim for 20-30 minutes of continuous cardio exercise, gradually increasing the intensity and duration as you progress. Listen to your body.

As busy individuals, we can incorporate these home-based cardio exercises into our routine to achieve better health and fitness goals.💪🏻

I have tried exercising without eating right.
I have also tried eating right & exercising.

This is from my own personal experience that I have personally went through.

Exercising without eating right.
Yes I did lose abit of weight but it took me a long while... I'd excercise twice a week... After excercise eat mee goreng... eat rice.... but an incident took place & I was injured(not from excercise). I couldn't excercise. I didn't eat right. Whatever you put infront of me, I'd eat😁 After I recovered I lost the momentum. I gained weight😬

Eating right & exercising.
I lost weight week after week. I followed through a meal plan. Diet ≠ Eat less. Diet = Eat right. Through an online weightloss programme I have lost 17kg.
Well I started by eating right first. Made sure I got the hang of it then I added on going for more walks. Taking the stairs home to lvl 8. Slowly, I started to go for jogs & other forms of excercise. I've maintained my weight since.

Why eat right? Well you need to eat, right?
There is no such thing as diet food. Whatever you eat, i eat. Just mindful eating☺️

80% Eat Right
20% Excercise

Fiber. Is it just Salads, Salads, and more Salads? 🥗

To benefit from fiber, aim to incorporate a variety of fruits, vegetables, whole grains and nuts into your diet.

Remember to drink enough water to avoid digestive discomfort.

Always practice balance. Too much of 1 thing isn't always good.
