The brides who choose “Artist’s Choice” are always my favourite kind of brave ❤️

Not because they trust me blindly.

But because they understand something important:

You don’t hire an artist because you want them to copy someone else’s work.

You hire them because you want to see what happens when they’re given complete creative freedom.

No screenshots.
No Pinterest boards.
No recreations.

Just years of experience, instinct, artistry and a bride who says:

“Do what you do best.”

And honestly?

Those are often the designs that stay in my memory for years.

The most beautiful work happens when trust meets creativity ✨

I think one of the biggest misconceptions people have about bridal henna artists is that we can ALL naturally produce every single style equally well.

Truthfully… we all gravitate towards different things 😭

Some artists LOVE minimalism.
Lots of skin showing.
Tiny details.
Very airy spacing.
Very clean and delicate work.

And I genuinely think brides who love that aesthetic should go find artists who are OBSESSED with creating that style every single day 🤍

Because me?
I’m a maximalist through and through HAHAHA.

I love fullness.
Density.
Heavy detailing.
Visual drama.
The richness of a fully adorned bride.

Even in my real life, I’m not a minimalist person 😭
So naturally, my art reflects that too.

I think your bridal henna artist should feel aligned with your vision instead of forcing themselves to create something that doesn’t come naturally to them.

The best bridal work happens when the artist and bride are aesthetically in sync ✨

Brides… your nail colour can either make your bridal henna look EXPENSIVE or completely fight with it 😭

I’m begging Tamil brides especially — please be careful with super bright pinks, blues, greens, purples, yellows and mustard tones with bridal henna 🥲

Henna already has so much warmth, richness and detail in it. The wrong nail colour can suddenly make everything clash instead of looking elegant and cohesive.

My personal favourites?
• nudes
• milky shades
• muted tones
• soft classy extensions

And if you’re someone with very tiny nail beds or you bite your nails a lot, a short XS/S extension honestly photographs SO much prettier with bridal henna than overly long claws 👀

Also PSA:
Henna DOES NOT stain a proper gel top coat 😭
So please don’t panic if I accidentally go over your nails during your appointment HAHAHA.

This entire bridal look is about harmony.
Hair.
Makeup.
Jewellery.
Outfit.
Nails.
Henna.
Everything needs to flow together ❤️

Different brides want different levels of drama when it comes to bridal henna cappings 👀

Some brides LOVE the super traditional fully capped fingertips.
Some want a softer modern look.
Some want the stain effect without the heaviness.
And some want details like lotuses or leafy spacing added in so the cappings still look elegant and breathable ✨

There are honestly so many ways to customise bridal henna once you stop thinking bridal henna has to look only ONE way.

Your henna should match YOU.
Your jewellery.
Your saree.
Your vibe.
Your wedding aesthetic.

Traditional brides, modern brides, maximalist brides, minimal brides — there’s room for everybody here 🤍

If you’ve been confused about what style of cappings would suit your bridal look best… this video is for you ☺️

Okayyyyyy here’s the full context before everyone attacks me in the comments 😭😂

Do I think EVERY single person getting henna needs to wax their hands and feet beforehand? Honestly… mostly yes.

BUT there are exceptions.
And there are also certain situations where I’d rather someone come comfortable and confident than overly stressed about body hair.

At the end of the day, henna is meant to make you feel beautiful — not hyper insecure about yourself ❤️

That being said… bridal henna photographs VERY differently in real life versus camera, and tiny prep details honestly change everything.

Part 1 is already up if you missed the first half of this conversation 👀

POV: your bridal henna artist is begging you to wax before your appointment 😭

I know some brides get scared when I say this but TRUST ME… your henna will sit cleaner, photograph better, and your whole bridal look instantly looks more polished when the hands and feet are properly prepped beforehand.

And no… shaving the night before is not the same thing 👀

There are also a few exceptions to this rule — especially for younger girls doing puberty ceremony henna — but I’ll explain all of that in Part 2 because context matters 😌

Watch Part 2 before you decide whether you agree with me or not HAHAHA
