This is me visiting Pruvit HQ in Louisville, Kentucky during the Hacking Better event in 2019.
3.6 years into the ketones business, I must admit that it has been one of the best decisions in my life, hands down. Pruvit has not only helped me financially but it has also made me a much better person.
Many of you would know me as a musician but unfortunately due to Covid 19, I’m not able to perform live anymore and a huge bulk of my income came from doing gigs and live shows.
After the announcement of the CB, my income from gigging went from a few thousand down to a BIG FAT $0 in just 2 days. 😔 Fortunately, I was already a promoter for about 1.5 years when Covid hit so I still had some form of income coming in to pay my rent and other bills.
What I really love about being a promoter is that fact that I get to work from literally anywhere! All you need is an Internet connection and a phone, tablet, laptop or anything that you can use to connect to the Internet. The startup capital in very low (like the price of 10 boxes which you can use to do experience packs or even for your own consumption), and you don’t have to stock up any inventory or deal with logistics. Training will be provided and you don’t have to know any of the science about how ketones work. 🤩
One of the best things about being a promoter is that you get to work for yourself and not for anyone else. You'll be self-employed and more importantly you'll be building a business. Yes building a company for yourself, where you are the boss, director of your business, your company. You control how much you earn by how hard you want to work (no more missing that promotion you so freaking deserve, or trying so hard to get a 200sgd per year pay raise). You control how much you get rewarded, you control how hard you want to work, you control how many hours a day you want to work, whether you want to work in PJs or un**es, or by the beach or at home while spending time with your kids, or while travelling. You get to be in control. 😎

That’s right! I’m THE KETO GUY! Today I'm gonna zoom in on a topic that most people don't talk about when it comes to fat loss, and that's Insulin Sensitivity.
When insulin sensitivity is low (meaning you're insulin resistant), every time you eat foods that are high in carbs (don’t forget about hidden carbs), insulin levels rise up to a high level because your muscles are deaf to insulin. If insulin is at a high level, it stops your body's ability to burn fat.
So how to ensure that you do not spike your insulin level?

That’s right! I’m THE KETO GUY! So you've been trying to slim down the conventional way by eating less and moving more, but it's taking so long to get the results that you want.
It all begins with fat adaptation; getting your body to use fat for fuel because common sense says in order to lose fat you have to burn fat right! So the question is, "What are you doing to get fat adapted?" Eating mainly carbs is definitely not gonna get you fat adapted cos your insulin levels are always elevated. Going on diets and meal replacements will also cause you to rebound because it's not sustainable.
So what other options do you have?

That’s right! I’m THE KETO GUY! You most probably would have heard me mention the word MITOCHONDRIA on a regular basis. So what that all about?
Mitochondria is the powerhouse and fuel source of the cell and its primary role is to regulate energy production. It produces energy through the use of oxygen to produce Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP). ATP transports chemical energy within cells for metabolism. Mitochondria is present in all tissue and every cell uses ATP for energy.
So we know that the more mitochondria we have the more fat we burn. But what is the fastest way to increase mitochondria?

That’s right! I’m THE KETO GUY! So people have been telling me, "Wait you're the keto guy that doesn't do the keto diet!" What is this all about?
The truth is that I don't do any diets at all and I pretty much eat whatever I want, whenever I want! I used to prepare my own meals and count my macros but it's not sustainable for me in the long run. I also had to stop eating a lot of the foods that I love and it was so difficult to maintain that kind on lifestyle. After all, the only diet that works is the one that you will stick to.
So how do you get the body that you want without having to sacrifice the foods that you love eating?

When you take ketones: -

In order for your body to use fat as a primary source of fuel, you have to get into a state of ketogenesis, which is a state where your body is using the fat to produce ketones for energy. The problem is that most people are consuming too much carbs for them to tap into their fat stores. You’ll have to burn through all the carbs before you can burn the fat. Sounds easy but it’s really tough to do especially when carbs are the main staple of your diet.
So you know that getting keto adapted is best way for you to burn fat for fuel but do you know the fastest way to get keto adapted?

You may be thinking, "He got abs because he workout alot!" It's true that you'll probably need to do some form of exercise to get abs but believe it or not, exercise is the last piece of the puzzle. Most people think that eating less and moving more is gonna help u slim down fast. But as I always say, it not that simple.
