Day 3 – World Menstrual Hygiene Month 💛
This one arrives with a heart bursting with gratitude ,and is worth celebrating.
Remember Smart Healthcare, Smarter Learning (SHSL)? Our incredible Dutch partners who listened, believed, and chose to invest in girls in Sierra Leone?
Today, we’re thrilled to share that we’ve completed another activity with them, this time reaching three schools in Bombali.
But here’s what makes this special—
We didn't just hand out our reusable pads. We delivered knowledge and power.
Through SHSL’s Family Life Education Program (FLEP), our girls are now equipped with vital lessons on:
I. Puberty – no more fear, only facts.
II. Reproductive health – understanding their bodies, protecting their futures.
III. Managing periods with dignity – because no girl should ever feel ashamed of being a girl.
Let’s pause and give flowers where they’re due. 🌸
To Piet and the entire SHSL Foundation, thank you for believing in more than products. Thank you for believing that educated girls change the world. You don’t just fund projects; you fuel dreams.
To school leaders like Mrs. Kumba Sesay, your doors, your hearts, and your leadership made this real. We couldn't have done this without you.
And to the girls, keep learning, keep rising, keep bleeding in peace.
You are brilliant. You are powerful. You are why we wake up every day and do this work.
This isn’t a transaction.
This is transformation.
This is what partnership looks like when love meets action.
We are not stopping.
Day 4 is coming… and trust us you don’t want to miss it. 💛

Another Partnership in action
When Beckma Empowerment Initiative -Bemi came to us for partnership, they asked a question that stopped us: "How can we reach the girls everyone else forgets?
That question is exactly why SheCures exists.
On the 30th of May, in the Deep Eye Water community, Waterloo, their "One Under-Educated Girl, One Pad" campaign reached girls who have been left behind with menstrual hygiene education and sanitary pads that restore dignity.
So we said yes. Let us do this together.
At SheCures, we provided the reusable pads Beckma provides the reach, the trust, and the voice.
Together, we make sure that no girl no matter her education level or background – faces her period alone or in shame.
We also celebrate their Executive Director, who took SheCures' message to the radio station on Women's Online TV and 98.1 FM. When we speak loudly, communities listen.
This is Day 2 of our World Menstrual Hygiene Month celebrations.
This is what it looks like when organizations refuse to work in silos.
To Beckma Empowerment Initiative: thank you for seeing what we see.
To the girls of Deep Eye Water, we will not forget you. And to the world, watch this space. Day 3 is coming.
We are not stopping. 💛

This World Menstrual Hygiene Month, we did it at SheCures with our Partners
And we want the world to see what love looks like in action.
It has been a tough month for us. Sorting orders. Massive washable pad production. Radio engagements. Partnerships that push our mission to the next level. Some days we were tired. But we never stopped. Because a girl in Bombali, Falaba, Kailahun, Freetown or Bo was waiting for us.
For us at SheCures, menstrual health is about so much more than the product we produce.
It is about dignity – the right to bleed without shame.
It is about access – a pad within reach, not a luxury.
It is about safety – no infections, no fear, no hiding.
It is about the freedom to ask questions – to speak, to learn, to know your own body without judgment.
And this month, we saw that exactly with our partnerships.
In the following days, you will see all of our work from this month's activities. But first, let us look at our strategic partnership with The Empowered Girls Advocacy providing education and our long-lasting, safe reusable pads to girls who need them most in Bombali.
Because when a girl has a pad that lasts and a mentor who listens? She does not just survive her period. She rises.
Stay tuned. More stories coming. 💛

When the people who believed in you finally see what you've been building... you get emotional. ❤️
One of our clients, Stichtingeen Helpende Hand (SEHH), came to Sierra Leone to see their work in action.
They visited one of their supported schools where we distributed Shecures pads during World Menstrual Hygiene Day 2025. That day was a celebration but for the girls, it was not just a celebration that ended when the event closed.
It was a beginning.
The pads kept them in school. The education stayed with them. The dignity did not fade.
Now, one year later, SEHH returned. They sat with the girls. They listened. Then they called me.
The feedback was everything for us to keep doing what we are doing. Girls shared how SheCures pads helped them stop missing school. Teachers told stories of confidence replacing fear. The principal said our partnership turned silence into strength for her girls.
I asked to screenshot the call. They said yes. So here are the pictures below.
To SEHH: Thank you. The work you are doing in Sierra Leone is deeply impactful. You didn't just buy a product from us. You walked with us. You believed in the girls of Sierra Leone. And for that, we are forever grateful. ❤️

Hello our Esteemed Customers and Well wishers, 🙌🏽
You remember when we said earlier that March is extra special for SheCures, right?
Yes. It truly, truly is.
From distributing 370 kits across 5 communities in Karene earlier this month to celebrating International Women's Day with dignity and purpose, we've been busy stitching stories of change.
And now, we have another order to fulfil this week—this time in Kabala.
And we are so excited to get to work.
We are grateful to organisations buying from us. Grateful for communities that welcome us. Grateful for every girl who reminds us why we do what we do.
The month of March, have been so good to us. And we're not done yet to celebrate our women and girls.

Happy Valentine's Day from SheCures! ❤️
Last week, we shared how our campaign would take us into schools across and other learning institutions in Makeni. This week, we're thrilled to share that we've been busy doing exactly that.
Despite many schools being in the middle of their sports festivals, our team met the girls right where they were with smiles and openness. Because menstrual health conversations don't stop for games, and neither do we.
Here's what happened when we visited:
✅ We reintroduced the SheCures Sisterhood Club and the response was beautiful. The girls were excited, engaged, and ready to join again.
✅ We held one-on-one sessions to listen, guide, and understand their menstrual health needs.
✅ We collected valuable feedback that will shape how we support them in the months ahead.
This Valentine's Day, we're celebrating a different kind of love, the love that shows up, listens without judgment, and walks alongside our girls as they grow in dignity and confidence. ❤️
Now we have to ask... will YOU be our 2026 Val?
By supporting a girl's education. Sponsor a Sisterhood Club. Share our message. Or simply drop a ❤️ below to show these girls they are not alone.
