Dear Esteemed Community Leaders, Cultural Groups, and Friends, On behalf of the Angakuei Youth Association, it is with immense pride and joy that we invite you and your communities to the Tong Payam Dance Fest. This celebration has been intentionally chosen for the 30th of July, a date of profound significance that unites us all as South Sudanese, our national Martyrs Day.

While we gather to honor the memory of our fallen heroes, we also choose to celebrate the resilience and vibrant spirit of our people. In that spirit, we are delighted to announce that this year’s commemoration will be a spectacular cultural display, showcasing the rich traditions that bind our diverse communities while we thank God for a new Administrative Unit, one among many that have been celebrated in the recent past.

1. Akol Agok Magot has lost a family member,he can’t wrestle on 8/8/2026 because he will be mourning with family members..

2. Late,Garang Anyieth’s prayers are scheduled to take place on 8/8/2026 in Bor County. Makuach Payam can’t wrestle on that day because the entire Bor Community will be attending the prayers.
