National Blood Transfusion Services - NBTS - SSD

Today was truly a remarkable day filled with generosity, compassion, and teamwork. Our first and second donors were both women, and we are proud to highlight the leading role of women in our society — showing courage, care, and commitment to saving lives. Many women came forward to donate blood today, contributing significantly to the large number of donations we received.

We are deeply grateful to the South Sudan Blood Donor Society and the Rotary Club of South Sudan for their tremendous and unforgettable efforts. Our heartfelt appreciation also goes to the healthcare workers of Alsabah Children’s Hospital for their substantial humanitarian endeavor and unwavering support.

It was a beautiful day that strengthened the spirit of teamwork, nurtured collaboration, and laid a fertile ground for continued success.

Exceptional and excellent work today, Team NBTS! Your dedication, professionalism, and unity made this achievement possible.

H.E Simon Uber Mawut, Governor of Northern Bahr El Ghazal visited the National Blood Bank today to Donate Blood to save lives of people requiring emergency blood transfusion in the hospitals.
He is a very passionate and enthusiastic regular blood donor. Thanks to His Excellency for the love of humanity.

The NBTS participated in CME session organized by South Sudan Doctors Union held at Juba Teaching Hospital under the theme: " From Donor to recipient : Ensurinng quality and safety in blood transfusion"
