Regarding the Recent Warnings Issued by General Obiel Othol
It has come to our attention that General Obiel Othol recently issued a stern warning to Lwak Media TV concerning the reposting of an old video featuring Dr. Okony Othow, which reportedly contained insulting language directed at the General's mother. While we understand the sensitivity surrounding personal respect and family, Gaar Media wishes to address a broader, pressing issue regarding the General's recent public focus.
On behalf of Gaar Media, we would like to formally and honestly advise General Obiel to completely drop the ongoing issue involving the artist One Two Fly.
Why This Matters
Preventing Conflict: Keeping this issue alive in the public sphere has a high potential to incite unnecessary conflict, division, and hatred within the community.
Focus on Leadership: Regardless of the truth behind the allegations or rumors, public figures must prioritize peace and unity.
Our Position: We respectfully urge General Obiel to step back from this matter, mind his core responsibilities, and let the situation rest for the sake of community harmony.

Our artist One Two fly fell into the River Nile on Monday, 9 June 2026 during his journey from Kodok to Malakal.

After days of searching, the body of our brother One Two fly was found today in Fashoda County, Boma Pathrow. We thank everyone who joined the search, prayed, and stood with the family.

Ezekiel Lol Gatkuoth gave a speech in Longechuk county, Upper Nile State, South Sudan. Adut Salva Kiir was born in Malakal and grew up in Maiwut County. She herself is from gatjaak. What matters is not where you were born, but where you were raised. He also said he will talk to adut to visit Maiwut County and live there.
