She has departed, but the words she spoke over my life will remain. 🕊️🤍
My 93-year-old client has gone home to be with the Lord.
When she was no longer able to make it to the salon, I went to her. What started as a client relationship became something much more meaningful to me.
She would always speak life into me. She would encourage me with Scriptures, remind me of God’s promises, and speak words that strengthened my spirit.
Sometimes, I would arrive to care for her, but somehow, she would end up ministering to me. ❤️
She reminded me that ministry doesn't always happen behind a pulpit. Sometimes it happens in a chair, in a home, during a conversation, through a simple act of service.
I am grateful that God allowed our paths to cross. I am grateful for every conversation, every Scripture, every word of wisdom, and every moment I had the privilege of serving her.
At 93, she left an imprint—not only on the people who loved her, but on me.
Rest well, beautiful soul. 🕊️
Your earthly journey is complete, but the seeds you planted through your words, your faith, and your love will continue to live.

Today, as we remember Emancipation, let us remember that freedom is more than being released from physical chains.
There are also mental chains.
Emotional chains.
Generational chains.
Chains of fear.
Chains of rejection.
Chains that tell us we are not enough.
But God has given us authority.
So today, I declare: We will not walk as people who are still bound. We will walk as people who know WHO gave us authority.
We will rise.
We will build.
We will heal.
We will create.
We will prosper.
We will take our rightful place.
The chains may have been inherited, but bo***ge does not have to be our inheritance.
Walk boldly.
Walk wisely.
Walk prayerfully.
Walk in your God-given authority.
You are free to become everything God called you to be. 👑🔥
