When the sky brightens up in the night, it shows the bright beautiful stars. An image that is common on my island, especially after a long night ride on bikes, parking just nearby the airstrip. A place to indulge in at night after a long summer day, a moment to share with families and friends, enjoying the cool night breeze.
A quiet place to share a peaceful breezy moment, when the heat’s up and home is a little bit too warm. Spread out a local mat, grab your guitar and enjoy a night of serenity. Now is it not a dream worth living?😉✨🌺

The many things happening around the world, time moving fast with a lot of deadlines to meet, sometimes blocking our visions for a peaceful mind. This video is a peaceful reminder of how life can move slowly, gradually creating a safe haven for your childhood memories. A moment in time, where life is simple, steady and filled with good vibes. Let us live in a throwback moment of peace on the islet of Funafala, on my beautiful home Funafuti 🌴❤️

Learning and stepping into this journey with gratitude for every person working quietly behind the scenes to help shape us into the women we are becoming. As Pacific poet Teresia Teaiwa once reminded us, “We sweat and cry salt water, so we know that the ocean is really in our blood.”

From networking and sharing laughs with my pageant sisters to dancing and enjoying the beautiful fatele performances by the Nanumea and Nukufetau communities, it was a lovely reminder that some of the best parts of Tuvalu are found in the warmth of our people and the traditions that bring us together

As the Governor-General of Australia arrived on Tuvalu’s shores, my community, Funafuti, was honoured to be part of the traditional welcome. The fatele we performed carried a quiet reminder about listening to the wisdom of our parents and elders, and how those lessons continue to guide the hopes we carry forward 💭
Moments like these are a reminder that Tuvalu is not only about the beauty of our islands but it is our culture, our stories, and the traditions that continue to welcome people to our shores, offering a glimpse into who we are and the values we carry with us 🇹🇻
