We had the loveliest surprise at The Mansion today when two of our favorite police officers, Daniel Cottrell and Kevin—Algona's newest officer—stopped by at the end of our day with beautiful bouquets from Bloom Floral

But there's an even lovelier story behind these flowers.

One of the greatest joys of my life has been getting to work alongside you this year.

I've always been proud to be your mom. But watching you this year—witnessing your talent, your confidence, your creativity, and the way you care so deeply about the women who walk through our doors—has given me a whole new kind of pride.

Sometimes I catch myself watching you work, and I smile.

And I think about the way you look at our little Maisie. How we can sit and watch her for hours, completely captivated by every little thing she does. How even the smallest moments make us smile.

I wonder if you realize that I still look at you that very same way.

I see the little girl I raised, the remarkable woman you've become, and now, a mother discovering the very same wonder I've felt watching you grow.

And I wonder if you have any idea how proud I am of you.

Of everything we've built here, getting to share this experience with you has meant more to me than I could ever put into words.
