Our San Diego Mesa College design-build team (C.W. Driver and LPA) recently had the opportunity to tour the nearly complete Health, Wellness & Recreation Center at Cal State Dominguez Hills alongside Senior Superintendent Scott Foley and the project team. We were also honored to welcome Jeni Kitchell, Assistant Vice Chancellor of Finance and Budget Administration/Controller for the California State University system.
Tours like these provide an invaluable opportunity to share knowledge, exchange best practices, and strengthen the partnerships that drive innovation across the CSU system. We appreciate the collaboration and look forward to applying these insights as we continue delivering exceptional learning environments.

Since joining C.W. Driver in 1994, Hank has been instrumental in our company’s growth and success. He began his journey managing major retail projects for Robinsons-May, Bloomingdale’s, and Macy’s in Los Angeles, San Diego, and Las Vegas, before becoming a recognized leader in the education market. Hank’s expertise, strategic vision, and commitment to excellence have shaped countless projects and fostered lasting relationships with clients, partners, and team members alike.
As Senior Vice President of Operations, Hank oversaw operations throughout the San Diego region—guiding project teams, supporting business development, and driving operational excellence. His industry knowledge, problem-solving skills, and passion for mentoring made him a trusted leader and invaluable resource across C.W. Driver.

Proud to support Augie’s Quest Walk to End ALS at Angel Stadium on Lou Gehrig Day! Over 260 members of the ALS community, families, friends, volunteers, and sponsors united for one powerful goal: finding a cure for ALS.
A true highlight: our own Sam Cunningham threw out the ceremonial first pitch before the Angels game! Sam’s strength, optimism, and advocacy inspire us all.
Together, we raised over $50,000 for critical ALS research and brought hope to those affected. Honored to stand beside Sam and Augie’s Quest, because incurable is unacceptable.
