For this transformation, we went with a rich, glossy black using Danger Jones Danger Jones Balayage Epilogue permanent color. Formula: 1-1 + 1-0!

We also added length and fullness with one row of Invisible Bead Extensions® | IBE® using premium wefts from one of my favorite hair brands, Hair Extensions | Hand Tied. ✨

Now, I typically recommend a minimum of two rows when adding length with IBE. However, when someone has finer hair with some existing length, we can sometimes achieve a beautiful, seamless blend with just one row! It’s all about customizing the application to the hair you’re working with.

For this new client, we chose the Minimal Control Qiqi Treatment to reduce frizz, add shine, and make her hair feel smoother without weighing it down.

The goal was not to straighten her hair. It was to keep her natural wavy texture, soften the frizz, and help her hair air dry smoother with more polish and movement.
