I will be holding a Restorative Yoga & Live Sound Journey.
Theme: Alchemist of Beauty 🪄

Restorative yoga is the yoga of non-doing. You will be guided through gentle postures fully supported by props so no muscular engagement is needed, allowing the body and mind to relax completely. Throughout the session, I weave in live ancient mantras and heartfelt songs accompanied by a collection of unique instruments.

I love seeing the creativity music and sound evoke in the residents of the nursing home I go to.
When I asked the group what each instrument sounded like to them, here are some of the responses…

Tongue drum—“Like a flower in bloom, unfolding petal by petal.”

Hand pan—“If each raindrop had a voice, this is the collection of their voices.”

Ocean drum—“On a hot, humid summer afternoon, a storm moves in and heavy rain falls on leaves and wind rustles through trees.”

Everyone is a poet!

It means so much to me to bring music and light to such a neglected part of our society, where so many from an older generation are cast aside and forgotten. 🙏💚
