Our soaps are made in small batches and cured for weeks to create a gentle, long-lasting bar that your skin will appreciate. From mixing the oils and lye to cutting, curing, labeling, and packaging, every step is done by hand.

Throughout the day, our hands collect dirt, oils, bacteria, viruses, and other unwanted particles. Many germs are surrounded by a fatty outer layer that helps them stick to your skin. Water alone isn't enough to remove them.

Many of you have noticed that we use POF (Polyolefin) shrink wrap on our soap bars. We chose POF shrink wrap because it helps protect your soap during shipping, keeping it clean, dry, and protected from dust, moisture, fingerprints, and handling while it makes its way to your doorstep.

Benefits of POF shrink wrap:

📦 Protects soaps during shipping and storage
✨ Maintains product appearance and quality
💨 Allows soaps to breathe better than many traditional plastic wraps
♻️ Recyclable in many areas

For our online orders, the shrink wrap is simply there to ensure you receive the highest quality product possible. However, when you shop with us at local markets and in-person events, our soaps will typically be displayed without shrink wrap unless specifically requested by the customer.

While POF shrink wrap is considered a more eco-conscious packaging option, it is not biodegradable. We encourage recycling whenever possible to help reduce environmental impact. 🌎💚
