MyLymeData, the first national large-scale study of Lyme disease, is powering a study of neurological Lyme symptoms that's supported by a federal grant of over $700,000. This study is implementing AI-driven research to define, diagnose, and treat neurological Lyme disease using data from the MyLymeData database.
Part of the problem with identifying and treating Lyme disease is due to a lack of information about the disease. The trials that have been conducted about Lyme have been small and the criteria to establish participants have been restrictive, possibly excluding typical Lyme patients. In addition, with no new trials in the pipeline, it leaves millions without direction. MyLymeData intends to bridge the data gap by collecting data from Lyme patients which will then be analyzed and dispersed throughout the community as white papers and peer-reviewed articles by Lymedisease.org.
I just registered and filled out my surveys about my experience with neurological Lyme disease. If you have Lyme and would also like to contribute, please visit https://www.mylymedata.org/

I will be doing a free online webinar next Tuesday May 12 at 7:30 pm EST with the CO TBD Association and sponsored by other Lyme associations including lymedisease.org
I will be discussing my recent published research in the Journal of Alzheimer's Disease Reports and how 8-9 weeks of dapsone combination therapy and addressing MSIDS variables has lowered and reversed the most sensitive Alzheimer's biomarker, p-tau 217 for the first time. This has massive implications during two overlapping epidemics, Lyme and Alzheimer's disease.
Over 2000 people have already signed up! The first 1000 will go into the Zoom room and the rest can watch it on FB live. You will not want to miss this! I will also be taking questions at the end of the presentation. Point your camera at the enclosed QR code to sign up for free. Hope to see you there!

There are 55 million people worldwide now with Alzheimer's disease with a 42% average risk of dementia over 55 years old. Lyme disease has been linked to dementia in multiple autopsy studies and now in a live patient for the first time, in my recent article published in the Journal of Alzheimer's Disease Reports:
Lyme Treatment Reverses Alzheimer's Markers in Groundbreaking Case Study

Rates of Medicare patients with Lyme disease are 7x higher than the general population while we are in the middle of a tick-borne epidemic. This puts many people at risk for cognitive difficulties as they get older. Come learn about new groundbreaking research in the field so you can protect yourself and your loved ones.

May is Lyme Awareness Month, and through awareness and understanding, the unnecessary suffering of millions can come to an end. One of the many mysteries of this disease in the conventional medical field is which treatments truly put the disease into remission. In this part two interview clip with Dr. Myriah Hinchey (), I have the opportunity to ask her what types of treatment she offers her patients, but instead of sharing a specific protocol, her response was much broader. In part one, she stated that she looks at the patient as a whole, and in this clip, she expands to diet.
We've all heard the term "food is medicine," and there's a reason we have. It's true. What we eat plays an essential role in healing, and Lyme patients are no exception. Staying away from inflammatory foods such as dairy, gluten, sugar, and ultra-processed foods is a necessity for Lyme patients to keep as much inflammation at bay as possible.

Pfizer has created a vaccine for Lyme disease that has a 70% efficacy rate, and the national media is finally asking Lyme patients what they think. Well, at least they asked us what we thought this time, which is monumental on its own.
There's a lot wrong here. Lyme disease usually comes with a host of other infections, which are not prevented by this vaccine. If I've learned anything over the last 20 years, it's that the answer to complex issues like environmental factors isn't found in more products from Big Pharma. This feels like another money grab from a sector that already has a chokehold on the US.

May is Lyme Awareness Month, and through awareness and understanding, the unnecessary suffering of millions can come to an end. One of the many mysteries of this disease found in the conventional medical field is what kind of treatment works to truly put the disease into remission. In this interview clip with Dr. Myriah Hinchey (), I have the opportunity to ask her what types of treatment she offers her patients, but instead of sharing a specific protocol, her response was much broader: it doesn't start with a specific drug or herbal, it involves a step back and looking at the patient as a whole.
Lyme disease doesn't discriminate; it's a multi-systemic disease that strikes where we are the most vulnerable. So, to properly treat the disease, clinicians must take stock of the patient's entire body, not just positive labwork or focusing on killing the bugs. This speaks to the larger issue within the conventional medical system of dividing up patients' symptoms by body part, and as a result, neglecting the individual as a whole.
