THIS! This is why I firmly believe that if a human is NOT going to take the time or spend the extra money to know WHERE the meat you are consuming comes from, then they should be a Vegan.

As mentioned in the article. Factory farming should be illegal! You know the farming that provides the fast food burgers, the inexpensive meat in a grocery store, the cheap eggs in the cooler....

We have to keep choosing to vote with our dollars by purchasing local and humanely harvested animals. This WILL change the system. We can each have a part saving majestic animals from the terror and trauma that comes from factory farming. It is easy! DO NOT SUPPORT IT WITH YOUR PURCHASES.

This culture willingly, sometimes daily, spends $6 on a sugar loaded coffee drink but turns their nose up at spending a couple extra dollars per pound ( food for 2-3 people ) on nourishing, quality meats when given the choice. It is messed up!

Be the change you want to see. Set the example for your children, education is the key.

This topic can be tough to look into. However, we cannot change what we do not acknowledge.

Please, educate yourselves. Real food tastes amazing. You will never agree to this, UNTIL you quit sugar for good. Not on a "diet" but in your lifestyle. Eating refined sugar and processed foods is killing people. KILLING. Just stop. That is all.

I double up the recipe for my weekly meal prep!

1/2 cup vanilla shakeology or other protein powder of choice
1 tablespoon coconut sugar
2 tablespoons coconut flour
2 tablespoons coconut butter, melted
1 heaping tablespoons almond butter or nut butter of choice
2 tablespoons almond milk
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
pinch of salt
2-3 tablespoons Enjoy Life Mini Chocolate Chips

Instructions
In a bowl, mix together protein powder, coconut sugar, and coconut flour.
Then add coconut butter, almond butter, almond milk, vanilla extract and a tiny bit of salt.
Fold in chocolate chips.
Use a cookie scoop to make 8-9 balls. Firmly roll them keep them from falling apart.
Place in the refrigerator to set and store in the fridge.
