Airports hit different when every step is a victory. 👣✈️
I have ankle arthritis. On the bad days, a wheelchair feels less like a tool and more like a deadline. So I made it my rival instead of my fate. Every morning — circles, stretches, one stubborn rotation at a time — I push it further away.
Not because the pain is small. Because my will is bigger.
If you’re fighting your own body today: keep moving. Even one step counts.

If I started over again to heal my ankle arthritis, the first thing I would do is stretch it every morning with a band give it the opening that is needs to perform the duty of walking without pain. This one habit is what rebuild my range of motion more than anything else that I tried if I’ve known this years ago, I wouldn’t have saved myself a lot of stiff mornings giving up while I was shopping in a mall or multiple seating before I could finish my grocery shopping.
I have stopped fearing the distance to a place and started to enjoy what life has to give you.
Try the simple stretch if you are suffering with ankle arthritis to begin with and comment ankle to get the full framework after you followed me.
As a club foot adult , ankle arthritis was inevitable… what changed was my vision to keep finding ways to enable my mobility.. rest didn’t give me any relief from the pain.
The only thing that worked was stretching the ankles with controlled slow movements. Use a band use a band to pull the feet forward and resisting against the band push it back. It gives the ankle a good stretch and the muscles around the ankle also gained strength.

Rest and loosing weight was never the answer. Ankle opening through structured ankle opening framework was the answer.
No one else understand the pain and it’s not easy. Regular practise worked and helped me release the stiffness in knees , ankles and feet. Walking , climbing stairs and working is no more painful.
If you are looking for an ankle opening framework - comment “ankle”
Everyone told me - loose weight you will not have feet and knee pain. I believed it too. Went to gym , joined Pilates and tried everything to reduce weight. Nothing helped — till yoga came@to my life and retrained my feet.
Simple poses , nothing complex and my determination to heal myself . Yoga has special@equipment to realign the whole body and correcting all parts creates harmony in body riding you of the pain.
My biggest learning is to trust the guru and not ask questions of when@it will work .. it took years to start feeling pain in knees and it will take months to repair it . Try these wall extensions and then u can come and thank me later ::)
Simple stretches , zero equipment - barrier to heal is so@slow yet we don’t do it cause I think we don’t want to heal.
Sympathy gets us more attention than healing does… maybe that’s why we don’t make an effort to heal. If I can as a club foot adult with multiple surgeries can keep@myself walking after fifty with no pain — so can anyone with ankle arthritis … it just needs practise …
Are you ready to take your life back from immobility and pain ?? Do you want to heal@and live a life full of experiences ? Follow along and practise simple things to see the difference.
Tried gym , Pilates but nothing worked on my ankles. The more I would try to walk on a treadmill the more I would come back with sore ankles, and feet getting introduced to yoga was a blessing. It worked on the ankles the feet the legs, the calves, the back everything was realigned with stretches poses and gave back the feet the work that they were truly meant to I
I was able to walk again. It gave a new life to my legs and I stopped calculating the number of steps I had to take for every work. It is liberating and makes you free to live without thinking of being dependent on anyone for your mobility.
Yoga gave the ankles the stretch the pull the push they needed for all muscles in and around the ankles to gain strength and for the legs to let go of all the built-up stress and pressure they had because of ankle pain. Every part is connected and everything needs to heal.
