• Hiya, for those that don’t know me, I’m Raquel, your creative stylist, whether it being hair or makeup. I have a passion for transforming clients looks through innovative techniques and personalized designs. I currently have 4 years in this beautiful industry, I specialize in blending current trends with individual preferences to create unique and expressive styles that leaves a lasting impression ❤️

• For almost 3 years, I was blessed to have found my air team🥹 I made close friends along the way, I could even say my second family, or as I like to call them my American family 🥰 was my mentor and one of the major people to guide me in this industry and I’ll forever be grateful for all the help and advice you’ve given me! While I had hoped to be there long term, unfortunately and God only knows why, plans changed…

• As most of you of you know, Air salon has been bought by Eggie, and while I know Eggie will do great things with this salon I have chosen a different path.

• I will be starting a new salon called On the Boulevard salon and spa, on May 8th, my books are officially open, and my new link is in my bio!

• I am grateful and blessed to have met amazing people along the way, I am so thankful for the amount of support I’ve received these last few weeks, to all of my clients, I truly couldn’t do what I do without you ❤️

We must go through different phases of change, just like a butterfly, in order to see the beauty on the other side🦋

I can’t wait to see what this new change is bringing and what is yet to come✨

Yalllll to say this was a transformation! My sweet client came in and presented her hair to me, she wanted to get rid of the red, (it was box dye🙂) she then showed me her desired end result, 🙂 I told her I wanted to do a test strand and then we could talk about what we could do… her test strand simply wasn’t doing what I wanted it to do, so I sat with her and broke it down, I told her it would have to be a soft transition, and I showed her what her hair could look like, a more reddish brown, we could do a few sessions until the red is completely gone… she agrees and we go forward with the session, to my suprise the test strand L I E D to me, I was soooo shocked, I was like you’ve got to me joking with me, I didn’t tell her anything, I kept foiling her hair, she wanted to keep dimension in her hair so I did low light it and made sure to neutralize the red, (which is why her whole head is foiled) I got back to the bowl and washed her and got ready to tone her, her hair did beautifully, you can still notice a slight red tint, but to say we got stinking close to what she wanted, I did the damn thing and she was sooo happy!!!! I really loved her transformation

Sooooo excited to finally share my secret that I’ve been keeping for the past few months, if you haven’t already noticed, I haven’t been able to post my daily looks, I’ve been severely sick with morning sickness 🤮 I’m still working as of now and have been trying to save my energy for work, I’ve been trying to adjust to the new changes my little one has been making on my body, and really listening to my body as well as trying not to put too much on my plate, I know the time will come to be able to do all the things I was doing, for now I’ll be posting other work related things and hope you guys continue to enjoy the content I’m able to create, please feel free to reach out to me to take appointments while I still can!
