The international plastic surgery community is mourning the tragic loss of Dr. Alexander Aslani, 57, founder of Cirumed Clinic and an internationally recognized plastic surgeon known for his work in body contouring.

According to reports, Dr. Aslani was shot multiple times inside his Marbella clinic Wednesday evening. Authorities have opened a homicide investigation, and the circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation.

Dr. Aslani was more than a surgeon—he was an educator, innovator, colleague, and respected member of the international aesthetic surgery community. His work reached patients and surgeons around the world.
