We pulled our consult notes from the past quarter and the pattern was loud. The single treatment we recommend most often that almost no patient walks in asking for by name is threads.

It's not the patients' fault. They don't ask for it because they don't know it exists at this level, or they confuse it with the surgical-equivalent claims they've seen online and write it off. By the time they get to us, they've come in asking for filler in a place filler isn't going to deliver, or they've come in resigned to the idea that nothing short of surgery will help.

Threads, placed correctly, on the right candidate, by a provider who does them every week, are the answer to a specific problem we see constantly. Mild to moderate laxity. Midface drift. The shift around the jawline that filler can support but not address directly.

Our role is to listen to what someone's describing in the mirror and recommend the tool that actually fits, even when it's not the tool they walked in asking for.
