☀️ A little sunscreen PSA as we head into sunny season!

As someone who tries to be more ingredient conscious, I’ve been paying closer attention to what’s in our sunscreens. I created this list with mostly mineral based options that avoid ingredients many people are trying to limit like oxybenzone, octinoxate and octocrylene.

That said, I also know sunscreen is personal choice and the “best” sunscreen is often the one you’ll actually wear consistently. My goal is awareness, not perfection.

I know higher quality ingredients can come at a higher price point and we’re all living in the same economy right now. I tried to include affordable options as well and always recommend grabbing better quality products when they go on sale.

Personally, I use sunscreen more intentionally, stay mindful about sun exposure and move into the shade when needed. I also really love being tan but have realized that it comes with a price. My favorite sunscreens over the past couple years for the kids have been Seaweed Co., Babo, Thinkbaby and Mustela but people absolutely rave about Badger, Blue Lizard and Pipette! I'm also known to use Coola and Sun Bum for myself☀️

There's a time and a place for skinny pants... and today was definitely it! I will never part with my skinnies, no matter how much I adore all my wide leg pants!

I think we sometimes underestimate how much we can really get out of our wardrobes. Having the right staple pieces, choosing a color palette that makes mixing and matching easy, and investing in versatile items is exactly how you build that capsule wardrobe you’ve been dreaming of.
