Afternoon friends!
I had my one week follow up today and, so far, everything looks good. No infection! Everything is healing very well. I don’t have to wear any bandages anymore and I can now take a shower and wash my hair! I have another follow up next Friday so that they can remove the surgical glue that are holding the two incisions together. I am so ready to get back out on the track and walk! Hopefully, after next Friday’s appointment, I will be able to take a hot bath, which relieves my pain better than anything else. I’m able to get up and move around a little bit better, so I am looking forward to walking again. I pray appreciate yall’s prayers for me so very much. I feel so blessed to have some many who care about me enough to check and on me. I love you guys! Yall are one of the best friends that a person could ever have. I still can’t ride in the car for very long at a time. I found that out on my way to my doctor today in Webster 🙄 gonna be a little bit longer before I can drive again. Then watch out, cause here I come! lol! The spinal stimulator should be turned up next week! Yeah!” Hanging in there!

Well, it’s the first of the year, 2026. In March it will be a whole year since I began this process of recovery concerning my physical body. Waiting on spinal stimulator permanent implant approval. It was very worth changing my habits both food and walking. Clothes fit much better. Looking forward to this new year.

Did a check in yesterday. Since March of this year, I have lost 10 pounds. I have lost 2 inches in my chest, 3 1/2 inches in my waist and 2 1/2 inches in my hips. I did this by changing my diet to a vegetarian diet and by walking seven days a week 30 minutes a day. I know it’s very difficult to make major changes like these, but my health was in crisis. My Spine is still in crisis. I am going to have a trial run with a Spinal Stimulator on Monday. We are praying for at least a 50% decrease in my pain levels. I wanna get my life back that has been stolen from me when I fractured my spine in 2022. Prayers appreciate as I continue to go through this battle to regain my health.

Been a rough month but I keep on trucking. Still walking 7 days a week. My body hates it but that is beside the point. Not much changed this month as far as measurements go. The enemy would like nothing better then four me to give up.
NOT HAPPENING!
Update…spinal stimulator trial takes place on Dec 29th…..

November update. Walking 30min a day. Sticking with the vegetarian diet doing my best to take better care of myself. Still in a lot of pain from Spinal issues, but I am praying for approval for a Spinal Stimulator to return some sense of life to my body. Prayers appreciated.

Been a while since I’ve been here. I became a vegetarian in March. I cut out meat, bread, and sugar. I am not vegan. I still have butter, milk and cheese. I walk 30 minutes- seven days a week on the track. I’ve lost nearly 20 pounds and I am down two sizes. I found a substitute for bread. It’s made by Nature’s Own, Keto Bread! 1 g of carbs per bun! I also found a substitute for sugar. It’s brown sugar Stevia!
The closest thing to sugar that I have ever tasted. It can be done. Don’t give up!

Walking 22 min a day 7 days a week. I can tell a difference in my pain levels when I don’t walk.
Down 2 sizes since March.

Did a weigh-in yesterday. Even keto bread isn’t a good idea 😬
Back to no bread 😬

July 3rd I hyperextended my knee and I’ve been in a brace for almost a month. It’s really messing with my walking on the track. Prayers appreciated.
