Can I be vulnerable for a second?

For a long time, I thought I wasn’t a “bridal hairstylist” because I didn’t specialize in all of the intricate styles I saw other stylists creating.

But this wedding reminded me of something I’ve learned over and over again behind the chair—and something I talk about often when I teach:

You don’t have to be good at everything to be really good at what you do.

Your clients will show you what they value. Your work will show you what comes naturally. And eventually, your specialty starts to become clear.

For me, it’s always been about creating soft, polished, intentional hair that feels effortless and authentic to “Her”

There’s something special about realizing you’ve grown into the things that once made you nervous.
