Sooooo many actors tell us they struggle with “the smile” headshot. Whether that’s a toothy grin or subtle smirk, we have ways to help you get that shot that the commercials and agents will love! And if it comes naturally to you, like it does for Maggie , then we’ll just get out of your way and let ya beam!

DESIGNS ON STAGE NOW! “Le Bal” at was such a beautiful show to hair and makeup design!
Inspired by the French film of the same name, the show moves through a variety of decades, weaving a thread through American history. With no dialogue (but a GREAT sound design by ) the piece touches upon the human experience in a variety of eras…not quite a dance show, not quite a clown piece, but definitely something that will leave you properly speechless.
Thank you to Trap, and director Stephen Buescher, for allowing me to get painterly with these graphic makeup designs to support the actors through all their various states of being! Always a treat to get a lil weird with Trap Door! (And, of course, to be teamed up with one of my favorite collaborators, Let’s do it again, shall we? I don’t know, maybe another 4-5 times this year? 😏😜)

LE BAL runs through June 20. GET YE TO THE THEATRE!

Ever done that thing where you realize you haven’t posted in a month? Just me? Well…
Here’s some beautiful shots of from the retreat I attended in April! After never having Baylee in my chair at ClickCon, I was lucky enough to have her as my model for the whole night, moving her through 3 makeup looks, which I built upon every outfit change.
Look 1 is more commercial/simple beauty, look 2 added a lil drama, and look 3 I added pops of color and more sparkle…because…why not? 😜 Swipe though to see them all in more detail!
More looks to come, this is just a lil taste of the progressions. Such a fun time to meet and be creative with some fabulous folks!

Whitman Johnson came to us with some very specific looks his agents wanted to fill the gaps in his headshots. He needed a few images that felt kinda rough and tough cowboy, a lil handsome leading man (maybe for period pieces?) and something that felt serious…maybe even villainous? Whether folks need a more broad package of images, or some narrowed down specifics, it’s always fun to see what we can craft together!
Bookings are officially open for May! Come see us, and get what ya need!
