So with every new venture comes a rebrand. But as I was looking at what makes me happy and joyful, I realized that I’m not normal. I always stand out in a crowd, even when I try to blend in. So it stops now: I’m f*cking strange and I like it. And I can’t attract clients if I look like I blend in.

What do you want to see more of in the beauty industry?

I kept my iArtist notebook on me in my bag while I was traveling back home. I pulled it out because I wanted to go over the notes from the weekend and I read over a section by and her GPS: Growth Positioning System.
The first part is Vision. So I started writing down what I have a vision for in my life for the rest of 2026. Things I want to work on to get on track. I’m done coasting and waiting for things to magically fall in my lap. It’s my turn to put in the time and effort to make my visions come true.

I have so much joy from this weekend, especially after having such a dark moment looming over me during the show. I shared and cried at the times that I should be proud to be doing what I do with the people that I love. I questioned every moment of the past 13 years of all the decisions I’ve made to get here and everyone reassured me that this was only going to make me stronger. My cup has been filled with so much love, but now I have to keep the momentum going. You all gave me so much hope for all my dreams and visions after I felt like I plateaued. I can only go one day at a time, but I’m gonna make sure that I keep it grounded and plan for every move I can make. Thank you for letting me have the grace to share my emotions and starting this new path to gain a better sense of myself in my career and life. My community is the one thing I will always have. Thank you. 🖤

I’m a hairstylist and makeup artist based in Chicago looking to expand services into NYC and SF.
I’ve been doing this for about 13 years and this is my career.
I’m very done photo shoots, headshots, editorial shoots, and runway. Session work is my favorite kind of work.
I’m a k-pop fan (2nd gen!), proud Chicagoan, dog dad, and gyaru enthusiast!

I wanted to say thank you as well as happy holidays to everyone who wished me a happy birthday this year!

I got to spend it with amazing people and had a moment of nostalgia while visiting WGN for Annie promotions this season. And special shoutout to for creating an even more special surprise there as well.

Over a year ago, I saw a post on Facebook from a friend looking for an assistant for a theater show. I was in a bit of a rut in my career and I said to myself, just send in some interest and see what happens.
That friend has become my mentor and has changed my career for the better. Every show, I learn and grow more as a hairstylist, makeup artist, and as a professional in general.

I’m so excited to be on the crew for my fourth show with and I can’t wait for opening night tonight! 1 year of running around with a wig and pins on me: the best path I’ve chosen in a while.
